We have not been to the Brown Derby in such a long time and thought we would try it out before the Star Wars fireworks. The inside is very pretty but missed the large palms that use to be in the dining room. Like I said it has been a long time! My husband had the filet that was melt... More

We were using Disney Dining Plan so booked Brown Derby using 2 table service credits each for the meal and reserved seating for the nighttime Fantasmic show at the park. We booked ahead. We were quickly seated in a booth in the main area of the dining room which I thought was nicer than the area with the big windows... More

The Brown Derby is fine dining, but don't worry about dressing the part--they know you are really there for the theme park, not the restaurant. The service was excellent, quick and attentive. I ordered the Black Grouper and was pleasantly surprised to find it served with a lobster tail. The grouper was excellent. Their menu changes regularly, but apparently the... More

Our dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby was very good. My lamb duo was quite tasty. They were very nice and allowed my wife to substitute scallops for salmon for one of the dishes on the menu. That dish also came out very well. The prices are pretty high, though. We had lunch at the attached Brown Derby Lounge and... More

Excellent meal served by a wonderful waitress Anna. Highly recommend for a family dinner. The appetizers were great especially the crab cakes and the Duck was superb.

The cobb salad was created at the original Brown Derby in California, and I'm sure this is the same. It has all those delicious ingredients chopped up very small, not much chewing to do. The service by Justin was impeccable, and the ambiance was delightful as only Disney can do.

Our first family trip to Disney and the Brown Derby was supposed to be our night without fried food. The menu looked appetizing compared to the previous 3 days but the kids meals were served on old seafood smelling plates. We couldn't figure out the smell at first but once we did, it put us off the entire meal. The... More

We read a tip that you could get some great shrimp and grits in Hollywood Studios at the Brown Derby Lounge. It is an outside bar area that serves some of the items served at the Brown Derby. The shrimp and grits were exceptional. I have had shrimp and grits at several locations, and I think these are the best... More

Went and took part in the Fantasmic experience where you get to eat off a specific menu and get better seating for Fantasmic. The meal was very good, we were seated out of the way which cut down on the noise in the area (high ceilings and hard floors made the main area loud). The carpaccio appetizer was incredible, the... Not to be missed when in DHS!!! Make reservations ahead of time. We were here for lunch, and the menu choices were delicious. Doubt you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Also - full bar, fancy and simple drinks, good service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
