Eating there now..the whole experience is horrible.. I have eaten at the one on Gregory St..many times over years and never had a bad experience l..this was the worst...closer to our home so we decided to try new location..reminded me of eating at a Dennys...or worse .we were told it would be a 45 minute wait..after 45 minutes and no text..we went in..to find supposedly the system had bumped us..then we get seated and order..my sides were on my partners plate...I asked for butter and it felt like she got it out freezer..my grits were cold..they took them and put in microwave...my partner asked for spreadable butter to put on toast..the waitress brought my grits and told him they were preparing the butter for him..when she brought the butter it was the same little containers they just stuck in microwave by then his toast was cold and he was done with his meal..More

The breakfast was good and so was the coffee! Service was friendly and quick. The biscuits and gravy and cheesy grits were great!

Really enjoyed this place. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere! They made our brief stay in Pensacola worth it!

WOW! I couldn’t have imagined how great a seafood breakfast omelette can taste! The Mardi Gras omelette was way beyond my expectations! I highly recommend it. Busy place with pleasant wait staff. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The restaurant is conveniently located across the parking lot from the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, making it a perfect place for breakfast or brunch, just a minute walk away from the hotel....When we got there around 8:45 am, our group of 8 only had to wait for about 5 minutes to get a table. Service was prompt and attentive. Our wait person came by several times unprompted to re-fill our coffees and other beverages. I ordered an omelet that came with a side. It was done nicely and was not greasy. Their menu offers a wide variety of entrees for breakfast. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their orders (cannot recall them all but they ranged from French toast, fried eggs, omelets). The serving size was filling without being too much food.More

On a road trip from Houston to FL on a Tuesday, I found this establishment on Yelp. Approached hostess area and saw several empty tables which was comforting. Quoted a 2 hour wait for brunch, even though they would have closed at the 1.5 hour...mark. 🧐 Walked out. Recommend you call and ask for length of wait before heading over.More

At first we were unsure if we were at the right place. We didn’t see and signs indicating the name. We walked in and were told it would be a 45-60 minute wait, but it ended up only being 25. We had a delicious brunch....We got a pitcher of apple pie mimosas, eggs benedict with breakfast potatoes, and the apple fritter french toast. Everything was really tasty especially the apple fritter french toast. It was amazing. The service was wonderful as well.More

My husband and I were on vacation and Pensacola Beach. I found this restaurant online as one of the top places for breakfast, and when I tell you did not disappoint! Mercedes was our waitress, and very personable and provided excellent service! I highly recommend...the Bourbon Street pancakes. No syrup is required. They have pecans, bananas, and a sauce that was to die for. The eggs with jack and cheddar cheese mix in them, and the maple apple chicken sausage was delicious. The staff was absolutely amazing. From the front door to the check being brought to the table. The food was great!! The wait can be a bit daunting, but that should tell you something right there. Find an off day, grab a coffee and chat...with someone, but you will be glad you ate here.More

Another Broken Egg (ABE) is arguably the best breakfast place in Pensacola maybe even the Great Gulf Coast. My Fiancee and I go this Morning, a Monday. Never on Sunday or the weekend because of the long wait. But there is no wait on a...Monday Morning. She wants a healthy bowl of oatmeal. I want pumpkin pancakes. They have no oatmeal. They heave no pumpkin pancakes. They do have pumpkin waffles. But with high calories. I settle for one blueberry pancake. I order the Skinny Omelette as is my custom. But instead of the English Muffin I would like a Single Pancake. No substitutions. OK. I order a single pancake add on. No can do. The minimum pancake order is a short stack of TWO. Starting to feel how Jack Nicholson felt trying to order dry toast. But my Partner reminds me to be polite. So they bring an English Muffin that I don't want and they force an extra pancake on me that I don't want and don't eat. Pushing up the carbs and the $. With Tip it comes to $40.00. Kaching! The Manager explains that that's the way the computer at ABE works. It is the very best. Just not what I wanted.More

We stopped in after picking up family at the airport. We were seated almost immediately. The service and the food was above what we expected. The grits were yummy. The biscuits and gravy were terrific. All in all a very good meal with nice folks...and good service with a reasonable price.More
