We stopped for lunch at The Crab Trap over Spring Break... myself and 6 kids! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the deviled crab and popcorn shrimp combo. The patio was cute... and right on the beach so the younger kids scrambled down the the water and also played on their little playground while we were waiting on our order.... More

I had the Blackened Grouper Orleans with andouille sausage in a white wine sauce and confetti rice (wild rice with colored peppers and onions) and it was sublime. My husband had the Fried Popcorn Shrimp Trio appetizer, and the Jumbo Shrimp Skewers entree. He said the popcorn shrimp was really, really tender and delicious, and the Jumbo Shrimp Skewers perfectly... More

Doesn't get any better! Food was very tasty, out quick, and our servers, Justin and Elizabeth, provided exceptional service.

The crab was good, everything else kind of icky. I asked for the shrimp lightly blackened, it came out dry and covered in salty blackened spice. The corn on the cob looked brown and like it had been around for awhile, all mushy. I ordered a $8 rum drink from menu, it came out in a kids plastic sippy cup... More

Enjoyed our meal, good food, service and lively atmosphere! Not for an intimate, quiet dinner. Liked the casual crowd and fast friendly service, nice seaside decorations.

Got the special, red fish, was hoping for better. Fish was dry and tasteless. Atmosphere was casual. I was told later there speciality is crab legs, if only I knew.

We were here on a Friday night so the were fairly busy but we still had great service. The Hot 🦀 Crab dip is delicious. The night we were there they had $.29 cent bowl of gumbo. Really good. I had red snapper and shrimp and it was awesome. Justin did a really good job as a server.

One of our favorites on the coast. Friendly and fun with good food is a great combination. The crab cakes are served over fried green tomatoes and are terrific as is the gumbo and all the other stuff you would expect from a coastal restaurant. Highly recommend.
