Decided to stop into Munch's on a trip with girlfriend to the area and was not dissapointed. Food was excellent. We started with the Fried Green tomatoes which were best we've ever had. I had the burger and couldn't have been more pleased. Girlfriend had Texas hash with the homemade biscuit (Have to get the biscuit) and was extremely delicious.... More

I went there alone for breakfast sat down at a empty table, immediately was asked if anyone was joining me I replied no. That did not go over well with the server at all. Her attitude changed to the worst when I placed my order because of 2 things 1. I was alone and 2. I placed a small order... More

It was a spur of the moment stop for what my brother said would be a wonderful chocolate shake experience made the old fashioned way. Ooh --it truly was just as he described. We sat at the 1952 fountain counter, placed our order to incorporate vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and milk. A very good value for perfection in... More

As seen on the food network TV show of Guy Fieri & Diners, Drive-ins and Dives this place is the BEST. As I walked into the diner I went and sat at the bar. The waitress Carmen was very nice and

I could eat there 3 days a week and never get tired of it. Great menu, with a southern flare, and awesome BBQ on Friday.

What a great southern style breakfast. The maple sausage was so tasty I wanted to take it home. The problem is, I fly out on Fri. So I made do with their homemade cat head biscuits and gravy and it's the real deal!

I have eaten there since 1956 and the Munch family and the restaurant are part of the community. A neighborhood restaurant offering home cooking at reasonable prices. You will usually find postmen, police officers and bankers enjoying pancakes or a burger.

This is a classic diner experience complete with open kitchen window, stools at the bar and the owner Mr. Munch hanging out near the checkout. I'm a big breakfast fan so anywhere I can get a good hash with eggs over easy is going to be a hit. Their biscuits are fluffy, buttery and delicious - we're talking real southern... More

Vacationing in the Tampa Bay area. Munches was the perfect stop between a morning at Sunken Gardens, and an afternoon/evening on the beach. The food was good, the service was excellent. Overheard one of the staff mention that she was one of the new employees, having been there only 14 years. The staff is like family, and they treat the... More
