Well we only wanted a light dinner, ordered two appetizers and two salads, well we got full on the appetizer's. The grouper cheeks were delicious, and the salad huge. Came away very very stuffed indeed! Very nice surroundings.

Service was excellent too bad food was not so much... Cip's chips were homemade chips with what appeared to be cheddar cheese whiz with sloppy joe and a bit of sour cream. Enchilada stack was more cheese whiz and chicken filling on tostadas. The fried...More

Great food and excellent service. Try to get an outer seat to enjoy the tropical ambience of this cozy establishment. This place is relatively small and tucked away off the main road. Even so,it is typically busy which is always indicative of its popularity. There...More

We eat here often on our family trips to Sanibel. Love to sit outside. Dog friendly too. The menu has many choices. I love a good healthy dish. Their quinoa salad didn't disappoint. We'll be going back. Staff is quick, friendly and helpful.

The fresh fish here is outstanding and so was the red sangria. But what really made our visit special was the friendliness of the staff. We were greeted at the door by the owner and our waiter, David knew a lot about the island history....More

We went for happy hour which is between 4 and 6 during the week. We ordered the buttermilk chicken and the salmon from the happy hour menu. The chicken was to die for and the salmon was too. The salmon had an amazing bernaise sauce...More

We really liked Cip's. One of the reasons we chose this was it was open rather late for dinner for Sanibel. It was almost empty when we arrived and our server was super nice even though it was the end of the night. We had...More

Ordered all over the menu--DR Reef & Peel & Eat, Quinoa Salad, Buttermilk Chicken, and Rice and Salmon Salad. Everyone's meal was a little above average. They have a nice outdoor seating area that is far quieter than inside the restaurant itself. Our bill for...More

Yes. A gorgeous back patio in a garden and can handle 40 people. We have had many weddings and rehearsal dinners back there. If you look on our website you can see a picture of the spot. Hope to hear from you!

Cip's Place has lush landscaping and wonderful outdoor seating. Its beautifully decorated interior has a large wall mural painted by a local artist who has featured many of the faces of people from Sanibel history. Chef Blaine and his wife Alison are co-owners and come from a long history of food service. The food is great and the locals frequent Cip's and are enjoying it.
