I stopped for a light supper during happy hour one day. Had a Corona and their "smoked fish dip." Fish dip is tuna salad. It's good tuna salad, but calling it fish dip seemed weird. It was served with red & blue tortilla chips that were meh. But it made a light meal for just $8 (again - happy hour... More

I came here with my parents last week and had a nice meal. The entrees were good, maybe not great, but definitely good and at a reasonable price. But the reason to come here is happy hour. They have the best happy hour specials on the island. $2.50 for house wines and half off a number of apps, including peel... More

- upon entering..... lead to a nice booth along the side in front room (we have dined here before) we see a dirty table, and vinyl booth chairs dirty...we quickly opted to sit in the next one down..once seated...it was dirty as well, just not as bad! Used a small napkin to try to wipe all the food particles from... More

Place was just ok. Food was pricey. Service was slow. Atmosphere is lacking for the prices they charge. More like a bar. Not a fabulous fish selection in spite of its name.

Had an early dinner at the Sanibel Fish House today. The blackened chicken alfredo was very good & my wife had the crunchy grouper, which she liked a lot. Everything tasted fresh & well seasoned. We both had enough to take a little home for later.

I've been to the Fish House twice, once for dinner, once for lunch. The restaurant setting is appealing with it's colorful decor and open windows. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. My husband enjoyed the grouper reuben sandwich and I had blackened shrimp tacos. I love to sit outdoors when eating out and the large open... More

Husband had the grouper reuben sandwich, a unique way of serving grouper, and said it was pretty good. I had the cod basket - a little too heavily breaded for my taste, but decent, and the fries were good. We came in through the entrance, but there was no one there, so we went into the restaurant area and were... More

Wow, must try the Clam strips, meat the size of my finger. Shrimps are so fresh and hummy, cocktail, fried...I am sure any way you have them at the "Jewel on the Isle". Very reasonable prices, super casual atmosphere, great service and just plain AWESOME in all regards. Can't wait to return.

Just a quick stop after a kayak trip for a couple of beers and a sandwich. It was a good grouper sandwich and I thought the price was reasonable for the portions. Would definitely return.

From the moment we walked thru the doors we felt soo welcome! The hostess was so cheerful and helpful! We asked for an "open window " table and she told us that it would be about a 15 minute wait and she was spot on! Here is why this has been the FAVORITE of our stay: Authentic! Super cool decor!...
