Went here for breakfast and my daughter said the pancakes were the best she's had on the island. They were fluffy and tasty! I ordered the 2 egg special with your choice of carbs(various breads, pancakes and/or English muffin) and my meal came with homemade raspberry preserves that were yummy. The coffee wasn't as strong as we like it but... More

Big selection. Breakfast served all day. Fast! We all enjoyed our meals, but the crunchy fish sandwich was the big winner.

This place is easy to miss - it's in the Tahitian Gardens strip mall (south of Periwinkle Place) and on the opposite side of the strip from Cheeburger Cheeburgers new location. We thought breakfast was very good - definitely not the best on the island, but a great breakfast without a wait. No outdoor dining, but lots of booths and... More

The Sanibel Cafe it's a great little place in the corner of a shopping center that you can have a variety of breakfast entrees which are delicious and unforgettable. They make their own jams and jellies too and recommend to sample them then if you like You can take a couple jars home. If you don't get to this before... More

We had breakfast here one day while in Sanibel- the cafe is traditionally decorated with beach themed items- staff was friendly and efficient- the food was great with large portions- my husband had to leave food on his plate which never happens! Prices were extremely reasonable. This is a great place with a comfortable atmosphere- make sure you give it... More

We just wanted a good breakfast in a clean place with reasonable prices, and we found them all at the Sanibel Cafe. I had a veggie omelet, my wife had scrambled eggs and pancakes, and we shared some crispy bacon. All the food was really good including the coffee. The pancakes were exceptionally good. And the service was friendly and... More

Stuck in traffic we ducked in here for lunch and wow, what a relief. Sat at the bar and the service and food was excellent. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out to two different roads, so no need to worry about being stuck.

While your on the Island, eat LOCAL!!! The places are convenient (everywhere) crowded (tourist Mecca) and non-fast food themed (anti-McDonalds). Do enjoy the fresh made (homemade) preserves. I had the raspberry. Julia was truely a fun waitstaff member (all the way from Minnesota). By the way the food was GOOD.

The Sanibel Cafe is nicely located in a small shopping center, an incentive for us guy types to accompany our better halves. For brunch, I had a ham and cheese omelette, my wife had a couple eggs over easy. The omelette was full of ham, tasty, the hash browns were good and the home-made (or rather, cafe-made) red raspberry preserves... More

So glad I remembered looking at Trip Advisor for breakfast places. Went here 3 days in a row while on the island and had the French Toast each time...yeah, it was that good. Looks like normal French Toast, but there was something about it that just made it the best I've had. Very friendly cafe, the servers actually seemed to... More
