Yeah so we had the fried crab claws as an appetizer there was a lot plus very "meaty" best we had in some time. Could have made a meal out of it! Also had the light fare grilled grouper very tasty! Would definitely return!

Hadn't been here since 2011 and I went back and looked at my previous review from then. I basically could just cut and paste it into here. I love their Sushi! I was the only one who got sushi and everyone else was jealous after ordering the fish specials.

I dined at the Old Florida Fish House based on a last minute decision. It was not a good choice. I had the crab cakes. Awful. They had no lump meat and were overwhelmed with spice (presumably because there was no crab flavor). The pasta that accompanied them was ok. I told the waiter how bad they were and he... More

Looking for lunch and a place to watch Sunday football brought us here. I was skeptical at first looking over the lunch menu since it was rather limited to salads and sandwiches. Food allergies can be challenging. But the food was terrific and modified to meet my needs. The main restaurant doesn't open until 5 but this is a nice... More

I am not particularly a fish lover, however, this place could change my mind. I had the blackened mahi-mahi. It was wonderful, flaky, tender, seasoned just right. Be aware that at night, the entrance is a bit tough to find. It is from the back of the strip mall that faces the road.

So here we are on 30 A and there is a sign saying the restaurant is open but it is dark and we can't find a driveway yet we could see the restaurant from the bridge. With a little perseverance we did find it and we were very glad we did. I had the grouper, served with crab meat and... More

Less needs to get a life. He is NOT all that which he thinks he is. I met a girl who lives here and she concurred. I asked him to take a picture of some of my friends and he told me he couldn't. It was NOT that crowded and he could have spared 2 seconds!!!!!! I will NOT be... More

This is the kind of place I think of when I consider fine Florida food establishments. It's a friendly, easy going atmosphere set next to a beautiful wooded lake. Excellent food and exceptional service by Chase. Conversation at the table stopped as we devoured the tasty meals. I had the crab cakes (excellent!), while my friends had the shrimp cocktail... This was my first visit to this restaurant. It was wonderful. Being from Louisiana I know good seafood. The seafood gumbo chocked full of shrimp and very flavorful. The fried green tomato appetizer with crab and buerreblanc sauce so good. My husband and I split the seafood platter. The best soft shell crab ever. We will definitely return to this... More

Description
Welcome to Old Florida Fish House, located in the heart of Seagrove Beach, Florida. First opening its doors in the summer of 2005, the Fish House is a family friendly restaurant that features daily seafood specials prepared by our executive chef, Thomas Stukenborg and some of the best sushi available on the Emerald Coast. A casual atmosphere, along with lakefront dining, is sure to provide you and your family with the perfect celebratory experience. Dinner and sushi start at 5 PM and no reservations are required or observed. We would also like to invite you to visit us at the Porch serving lunch daily. The newest addition to the Old Florida Fish House, the Porch is a beautiful full service bar built on a screened in porch right along Eastern Lake. The bar and tables are made from sinker cypress wood and offers guests a gorgeous view in a relaxed setting with plenty of big screen hi definition televisions to watch the big game. The Porch is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner, starting at 11am. Old Florida Fish House is considered a hidden gem on 30A and graciously takes the crown as a favorite local's hot spot. With seating in the hundreds, celebrations are encouraged. Proudly featuring local live music and happy hour, Old Florida Fish House is a hidden gem and one you don't want to miss when you come visit South Walton! We look forward to having you soon!
