We did have reservations and highly recommend them. There are a number of rooms to sit in, some indoors, some out. We were in the back at the bar. Our server was Chris and he was very helpful in giving us full descriptions of the...More

This restaurant is in an old house in the Towles Court artist colony area of downtown Sarasota. We were a party of six who wanted to be able to talk with each other, and we had heard that the small inside rooms could get noisy,...More

The best seafood dinner I have ever had. I don't say that lightly. I live in Florida so I am always trying seafood wherever I go. This place was the best. I had one of their dinner specials. It was perfection. The appetizers were also...More

Another incredibly delicious meal by Chef Phelps! Fresh local seafood dishes included Red Grouper & Cobia, hand filleted by the chef. Thick, clean & moist - cooked perfectly & served with amazing sauces that were light but enhanced each fishes flavor. Chef Phelps selects fresh...More

Don't miss this little treasure. It requires reservations or you will have a long wait. The chef is amazing. The menu changes regularly and uses all local items. The atmosphere is good and the service is amazing. I highly recommend dining here.

We ate at this restaurant twice in the last month, as well as several times in the past, and are never disappointed. It's sometimes hard to get a reservation -especially Christmas through Easter- but plan ahead and put it in your calendar. The freshest and...More

We ended up here by accident because we decided to leave Siesta Key which was mobbed! The menu is small and very unique. I had a burger with duck fat roasted fingerling potatoes and "pickled stuff". My husband had a black cobia special. Both were...More

We eat out all over the world, and searched for Sarasota's best restaurant. We were not disappointed. Indigenous is not located waterside, but sitting outside on the patio of this small converted house was lovely. Food was local, interesting, cutting edge, while still comforting! I...More
