On my birthday, my family asked me where I wanted to go and I chose Captain Brian's because I love their (very small but very good) salad bar. I also love seafood and have never been disappointed. I ordered belly clams, something that I hadn't had since I last visited CT. OHHHHH my! So good, so very good. There were... More

Six of us went to Captain Brian's for dinner around 6 PM. Since they do not take reservations we had to wait 25 minutes for a table to open up. It was well worth the wait. Our server was attentive even though the place was packed and she had many tables to handle. The seafood chowder was excellent. The seafood... More

We went for lunch and it was recommended to us to have the local catch, either the grouper or the red snapper. We tried both with "chips" which are basically fresh, homemade steak fries. The fish was delectable and flakey. It came with the cole slaw, which I thought was a little dry. But I would certainly recommend this place.... More

This is our 3rd visit here and they continue to impress. Don't let the location fool you. Service CEO is always spot on too. Very reasonably priced.

W shave been visiting Capt Brian's seafood Restaurant and Market for 20 years and it never disappoints! The fish is always fresh and the service good. We really love their Whole Bellied Ipswich clams which are very hard to find in Florida. Their salad bar is simple, but again-fresh. The atmosphere is average but we never worry about bringing out... Not crazy about the atmosphere, the salad bar is ok and we ate after theater so an early dinner is reminiscent of a nursing home, BUT, the food was great, portions gigantic and the prices are cheap. I had a 2 lb plus lobster for $35! Unbelievable. Plus great steak fries. My wife had Crab claws and they were abundant... More

It's so rare to find good seafood these days. It seems that everything is already breaded, frozen, and shipped to us from a foreign country, but Captain Brian's appears to buck that trend. It's very much a locals' kind of restaurant, and the clientele when we went this Friday was mostly over 60, maybe even 70, reflecting the population of... More

Short on ambience, but featuring the very best in fresh seafood – – both local and flown in. Nothing fancy, but a very decent salad bar, beautifully prepared fish, shrimp, lobster etc. Right now the sweetest most delicate bay scallops are in season. Also features a fishmarket so we can try our hands at being our own Captain Brian. And... More

Stopped by after going to the circus museum. The outside does not look like much but the food will surprise you. We were there for lunch but if dinner is as good as our lunch I think I will go back. The fish tasted fresh and home made. If it was packaged they did a good job of hiding it.... More

The best shrimp tacos I have had in the last five weeks in Florida. Bang bang shrimp tacos are the best. My hubbys grouper Reuben was also amazing. The salad bar was a hit with everyone and it was fresh and good. Captain B, you are the bomb!
