After a nice 3 miles walk from the south point of Siesta Beach, enjoyed a brunch break at SGC. Nice breakfast menu selection and enjoyed the Kahuna. Only regret is ordering the SG potatoes, though tasteful, appeared to be cooked in and dripping in grease or butter. Friendly and attentive staff so overall a very nice experience and recommend.

We always love eating breakfast here when on vacation at Lido Key. Lots of unique egg and non egg choices. My wife and kids sure do miss the "Greatfull Bread Pudding", which were taken off the menu last year, and had to settle for sticky buns instead, which are just ok, your basic cinnamon role. I had a hard time... More

It was quiet on a Monday morning so we got seated right away (in contrast to last visit during Spring Break). I ordered the Mississippi (waffles with maple syrup, bacon, pickles and fried chicken in habanero) and Hubby had the seafood Benedict with a side of fruit: both dishes were fantastic. Good service and it was lovely to sit outside... More

I order the Avocado Toast. The ingredients were simple and should have made for a wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately the star of the dish...the avocado...wasn't FRESH! It was a big glob of avocado that had clearly been made either much earlier in the morning or yesterday. Based on the flavor I wouldn't be surprised if it was the later. Perhaps they... More

Late breakfast before our daily walk on the beach,my wife had an omelet and I enjoyed an egg combo both very good without being too heavy. This was our first visit here and were pleased with the excellent service while sitting outside in the warm sunshine while enjoying our meal.

Went here on Sunday morning. There was a wait for an inside table but we waited because it was chilly outside. They have a lot of seating outside which normally would be nice. The coffee was average. The food was great though. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The breakfast cobbler was probably the best thing I tasted. I actually ordered the... More

Excellent breakfast food and pleasant service from Kim. Lots of interesting choices on the menu. "Pop's Omelette" was great, with well-made biscuits and tasty gravy. There were at least 5 or 6 other items I could have ordered not usually on the menus of typical breakfast restaurants. As the restaurant has an excellent word-of-mouth reputation, you can expect a 15... More

Met friends for brunch. 1st visit for me. Staff was friendly & efficient. Followed up during our meal for any additional needs but not intrusive. Food was very good but a little pricey. Atmosphere (seating both in & outside) was relaxing.

Our vacation was super rainy, but Sun Garden Cafe was a wonderful ray of sunshine. The atmosphere feels home-like, and the staff were kind. The walls are a friendly bright green lined with interesting and unique pictures/decor. Our waitress was kind and provided excellent service. If drinks went empty, she was right there to fill them back up. Breakfast was... More

We like this place! Very nicely shaded outdoor, or indoor, dining. Enjoyed the Cajun Eggs Benedict and Mahi sandwich for lunch Breakfast is available all day. The Benny included a toasted english muffin, topped with very tasty mixture of sautéed shrimp, crawfish and salmon topped with with nicely poached eggs and fresh made hollandaise Delicious! The Mahi sandwich included a... More
