Matoi is a definite go to spot for foodies and lovers of fresh sushi. Their roll combinations and flavors are so unique yet very delicious and the sashimi is fresh. The sushi is made to order out where everyone can see and that is definitely a plus. I have already gone back more than 10x just to try each of... More

Once we were seated, our waitress came right over and asked about drinks. She was very kind and lively. We ordered two sushi rolls, The Matoi... More

Wow I enjoy visiting this place that give you more than one can eat with the fried rice. I am not a sushi eater, but love their vegetable fried rice with fresh vegetable and my girl had chicken fried rice. We got enough for 2 meals and it was Justas good the second time.

I took my daughter to Matoi Japanese (owned, operated and staffed by Koreans) Sushi Restaurant today because we were 'in the neighborhood,' I had not been there in a while, I had always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance in the past and we both love sushi! We were NOT disappointed we went. The restaurant is kind of dark, the... More

An old favorite in a convenient location on Dale Mabry a short distance south of I-275. Has a loyal following among folks who like adventuresome cuisine with some spice. The sushi chefs work assiduously but it is the Korean cuisine which shines. The servers are plentiful and friendly, and will remember you after a couple of visits. Through a long... More

I like this restaurant ! it has a very good service and very good choices between sushi and Korean dishes. If you do not get immediate attention ring the bell located at every table to call the server's attention.I prefer the sushi over the Korean dishes but is a matter of taste. They offer happy hour till 8 pm. Portions... More
