tasted good - me and a buddy ate there - expensive for a simple lunch - chicken chunks were good value - for a one time deal I guess ok - but again expensive for a pastry

So I decided to stop in here while looking for lunch. Much to my surprise the empanadas I chose were excellent. While they are a little more expensive than Publix or even a small grocery/deli, Mr Empanada offers variety not available elsewhere. I chose the traditional stuffed with picadillo and also selected an Italian sausage and cheese. Cooked fresh both... More

What it is? a stuffed bread, deep dried, loaded with meat (sea food, beef, chicken, pork) very common in the Hispanic cosine. We normally order the empanada stuff with crab meat and for desert the one stuffed with guava. This location also has sandwiches.

This is one really good snack or meal, The empanadas are to die for especally the devil crab and the guava and cheese. No matter which one you go to the taste is the same always good. This is also one of the cleanest resturants I have been in, staff is always friendly . Parking can be a little tight... More

I love empanadas but prefer the South American (Argentinian, Colombian) style with boiled eggs, potatoes, raisins. These are Caribbean style, but not as greasy as Jamaican or Puerto Rican. Lots of flavors, not as authentic as I was wanting but a lot of fun. A bit pricey at about $3 each.

What a perfect snack or meal. They come in a variety of fillings and sizes. They also have very good Cuban sandwich and deviled crab. Everything on the menu is inexpensive.

All I can say is, if you have tried Mr. Empanada, go today! I have turned so many people on to this place, its a shame! Beef and cheese is my ultimate favorite! The chicken and broccoli is awesome! Don't let me forget about the apple pie empanada. Let me end this review because they are closed and I'm going... More

Mr. Empanadas are individually owned franchises. However, I've found that each location has similar high quality standards. Each one I've eaten at has been clean, provided good service, and the empanadas are tasty and fresh. They offer a variety of fillings. The kids like this place.

Spanish version of fast food, these empanadas are tasty and have lots of selections. I like the Picadillo (seasnoned ground beef) and the guava and cream cheese ones best. And get a Cafe Con Leche while you wait for pickups. They have good party trays as well.
