We were just in town, and decided we had to come back to visit the Crow's Nest. We loved being able to dine on the patio overlooking the harbor. The grouper key largo and bouillabaise was fantastic, as usual. We can always count on having a spectacular meal, paired with thirst quenching cocktails, whenever we visit. Thanks again!

We often eat at the Crows Nest. The upstairs menu is formal. Everything is very very good. Downstairs is more casual and also very good. I would recommend it highly!

The tavern dining area is special, almost always filled with locals and with tourists willing to enjoy the wait. Thursday nights Darrell plays guitar and sings. The food is consistently top notch. The One Way salad with beef tips, plain or with some other added attractions is always a winner. The mussels are great as is the reuben sandwich or... More

A visit to the Crow's nest is always top of my to do list when in the Venice area. Food and view is great. To avoid the crowd and wait in the dining room we go to the bar. A bit crowded for space but same food. Afterwards walk it off on the Jetty and watch some excellent fishermen bring... More

This is such a fun place to eat looking over the water. Seems to be a gathering place for family and friends as most diners are in groups. At lunch you really need a reservation or the wait can be long. We have never had bad service here and we have never had bad food. The scallops were delicious as... More

Decided by chance to go in after watching the boats. Two levels , lower level perhaps more casual, upper level can dine inside or outside. Went to upper level inside and could see the water activity clearly. Had crab cakes and companion had the seafood pot pie. Flavour was outstanding and well paired with cheddar grits and a corn relish.... More

We had lunch here with friends. The food is excellent, the service is a bit slow, but overall it's a fun place to eat with a water view.

We arrived and told there was a 20 minute wait so we waited at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and the drinks were good. They seated us downstairs and gave us a menu with appetizers and sandwiches. We wanted dinner but we didn't say anything. We each ordered two appetizers, Mine was ahi tuna and clams casino and my... Met some friends for lunch. Highly recommend reservations for a nice table upstairs. Waiter Michael J. was great. Really liked the fish tacos. Had a little spice to the sauce but not too hot. Husband had their fried fish sandwich and he said it was ok. Large piece of fish. Friend had the blackened grouper. She liked it but the... More
