Terrific neighborhood cafe in 'downtown' Windermere... friendly, friendly staff. Acknowledged me by name several times during my stay (even though it was my first visit). Service was fast, coffee good and the brisket hash and eggs was terrific. Delicious different approach to hash. Tasty! Very much recommend!!

If you have never stopped in, you need to make time for Dixie Cream Cafe! As we have shared breakfast there MANY times, as it was early afternoon we decided to opt for the lunch selections. You cant beat the breakfast yet we were pleasantly surprised with our lunch order. Busy atmosphere ... tells you something about this eatery!

This cute little cafe serves really good breakfast fare. The brûlée Oatmeal was thick sweet chewy and delicious. Ricotta pancake was wonderful as well. Omelettes and brisket hash we're great. And they have the best biscuits I have ever tasted.

Dixie Cream Cafe is in the small downtown area of Windermere and is a charming spot for breakfast or lunch. The immaculate interior is decorated with local art, some for sale, and the service is friendly and fast. I had blackened mahi mahi tacos and they were delicious.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the friendly environment we received. Our waitress Cristina was very attentive to our order and service. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Food was good. Highly recommend!!

We went in for lunch on a Saturday around 12:30. We were seated immediately. We placed our order and didn't wait too long for our food. We all enjoyed our food and decided we'd come back again to try something different. We found the restaurant to be very loud. I thought the music was too loud, although I enjoyed the... More

Stopped in for breakfast and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The food and delicious. The Dixie Cream Cafe is always busy for breakfast on the weekends and is frequented by locals. Located downtown Windermere and is one of 2 restaurants down town Windermere.

My car club meets once a month there and they always take care of us even though we may be a little loud. Menu is awesome. Lobster benedict?? The list goes on and on.

We stopped into Dixie Cream Café this past Thursday and were quickly greeted by a friendly woman at the podium. It was quite busy and she asked if we wanted to wait for a table or if we were ok with eating outside or having a hightop (one of three near the register). The hightop was fine w/ us and... More

Wow! You don't have to go all the way to Maine to find fresh lobster! I had no idea that Dixie Cream had so many lobster dishes and I haven't had lobster this good since Kennebunkport! I had the Lobster Omelette and it was lavishly divine with its chunks of lobster folded inbetween creamy cheese and egg with a lovely... More
