If it wasn't for their coffee we would skip it. It's very dated and dirty. The tan carpet is black and smells strange.

This was only place I saw close by while staying at the Quality Inn. I is actually just a walk across the street. If you are road weary and need some chow, it is ok. If you are looking for a nice place to eat, go south a couple of exits. The staff here though was very friendly.

In a scale of 1-10 I would give this Shoney's a high 7. The food is fresh and good. If you want good food and a friendly staff then this is the place for you.

Arrived a bit late - the buffet looked decent but a lot of the food showed signs of being stale offerings. For 9$ I expected fresher and better.

My family stayed at the hotel across the street and decided to try Shoneys. It was seafood buffet night...never order seafood buffet!! The shrimp was dried out, hush puppies were dry & very hard, the salad dressing was very watered down with no flavor...not a good food choice. I wish I had read the reviews before hand. Our waitress was... More

Decided to give Shoney's another try after at least 10 years of not going here for the same reasons. Ordered 2 Saturday night buffets and my son ordered a Philly Cheese Steak with no peppers...simple enough...The food on the buffet looked like it had been there all day; or maybe left over from the night prior..the soup was 3/4 empty... Not sure where to start. My wife and I were looking for a quick dinner during a drive through GA. It was a Friday night and was "seafood night". Yikes, I should have known by that. The food was completely inedible. Our server was very nice but the food wasn't even food. The place was filthy and the food looked... More

we made a very long trip to Florida for the funeral of our best friend. We stopped for the night in Calhoun on our way back. A ,shoney's was across from our hotel and since I was hungry for their beef cabbage soup, we chose to eat there. When we arrived, it was Seafood Buffet night. Since we both love... More

Stopped after a days drive and did not feel like looking for someplace to eat. Shoneys was right across the street from the motel we were going to stay at. Ate off their dinner buffet bar and while filling, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. My wife ordered the country fried steak and it was fried to a crisp....overdone. The... More
