We finally went by here when they were open and ordered a dinner to go. First off the smoked meats are very good. Prices are where they should be and I can see why this place stays very busy.

Locally owned, great food. The sandwiches are huge, so if you're not a big eater, go small, as they stack the meat high. The sauce has improved, since they first opened, has s great flavor, the beans are great, hot dogs are good, great slaw, and sweet tea.Easy access, from main street motels, going west, turn on Tennessee street north, go only half mile, it's on the left.Good people, smiles... Nothing fancy- just good barbecue. Styrofoam plates, plastic silverware, and really sweet tea. If you're from the South, you know those things are a must for good southern lunch.

I am in Cartersville for a week of work and always ask about local restaurants. Several people recommended Scott's as the best BBQ in town. I went today for lunch. The line of customers winding out the door was a good sign. It took 15 minutes to get served and it was worth the wait. I had a pulled pork... More

Friday is Brisket Day go early or you will have to wait for a while...The pulled pork is great and the pork loin is better. I make a weekly stop here for my BBQ fix. The Carolina sauce is good and the other two sauces are average.

Scott's Walkup BBQ is a small restaurant with amazing BBQ. The sauce is a mixture of Carolina vinegar and southern sweet. If you don't want BBQ he has burgers and dogs. Open for breakfast and lunch

Local barbecue joint. Have their own specialty sauces. Very good Brunswick Stew and meats. Decent portions on the plates.
