Many people seem to like this place but not me. Been here once tried it and didn't like it. It is as it says though fast, friendly and inexpensive. The place is rundown and very outdated. Had the combination burrito with beans and rice. Was not to my liking. My sister had the Sancho grande. She loved it. So in... More

Their fried and grilled chicken salads are the best but my favorite is the chicken nachos on chips with jalapenos. Everything I have tried has been good.

Always hits the spot. It's TEX-MEX, people. Not Mexican food. And it's good tex-mex. You will be full and happy when you leave here... And you'll want to visit again soon. Been coming here since the 80's, it's a homey place. The people get to know you. I always get a Sancho Grande, x-hot, with some beans and rice. Tried... More

Even though my daughter and I laugh as we call this place Mexican food - we don't mean to imply it is by any means anything like good Mexican Food. It is the kind of Mexican food you might prepare in your own kitchen if all you have is ground beef and canned goods. Every vegetable we ate came from... More

It's pretty cheap and it's still too expensive. Very greasy dishes with no flavor. I think this place was popular in the 70's and 80's and not much has seemed to changed. Save your money for something better.

I moved here for a job and have driven by this place several times. I had to stop to check out how serving tacos and subs would work. I had the chicken quesadilla with lots of extras and it was pretty good. Also had the beef taco as served and probably would not order it again. It is the type... More

Let me first start by saying that I've had this food since I was a kid and the food has always been good. The issue I have is with the customer service the first time as an adult that I actually came here to order some food the cook came out from the kitchen and was rude to me because... More

1st visited this place in the late 80's when I worked nearby. After I transferred from that job to one in a different town I dragged my then boyfriend (now hubby) back to C'ville once a month to visit Tacos and Subs. He wouldn't even try the food the first few times, forcing me to get mine "to go" and... More

Food is great ( a little pricey) Ladies that takes your order needs a little attitude adjustment. Other than this, good place, good food etc.
