BLUF: Dinner for two, $110, quiet ambience, reservations recommended...a bit pricey for the amount of food, but good flavors. Arrived around 6:30 PM a lot of tables were empty but only noticed two servers. Overheard phone calls and the reservations were going quickly. Very calm and soothing quiet atmosphere and did not notice any kids. We ordered Mexican street potatoes... More

We heard they were having a bourbon tasting and decided to go. It was a great event in a great location. The new location is much nicer and they did a great job with the decorating - plenty of street parking nearby. The tasting details weren't very clear in the Facebook post but glad we went because it was fabulous.... More

Without doubt one of the worst meals I have been served. Fondue starter wasn't properly cooked, it was a thick gelatinous mass hidden under a thin liquid. No kirsch in the recipe. Even reheating it to something approaching an acceptable temperature failed. The entree comprised cold steak which hadn't been properly seared, the blue cheese topping was cold and stood... More

We had a very bad night! Complete crash in the kitchen...overbooked and short staffed. Management explained and apologized and 100% comped all food items. I am sorry that we will not have another opportunity to regain your business considering that you have visited several times previously with zero complaints. More

I recently met several clients for dinner at Meritage on a Thursday night. After circling once, I got a place to park on the street. We were welcomed and seated right away. Our waiter was attentive when we needed him but otherwise left us to ourselves. The owner stopped by to check on us. There is a full wine selection.... More

I brought my friend here before her special occasion as a classy start to a fun evening. I recommend arriving between 5-6 pm for quiet personal service as people don't begin to arrive until after 6. I had the Crab Encroute and she had the Mexican Street Potatoes. The Crab starter was fabulous and her potatoes were extremely thin, spiralized-sliced,... More

How refreshing to be able to enjoy a delicious meal with friends in a LOCALLY owned establishment. The menu selection was wonderful and all six of us were pleased. Another plus is that it was quiet, the decor was quite pleasing and we were able to stay at the table chatting without feeling rushed. I do highly recommend Meritage.

This is one of our favorite places to dine in Columbus, Georgia. We love the menu options of both the food and drinks. The grilled chicken pesto flatbread was wonderful!!! I also loved the French 75 cocktail. Great wine menu as well! Service here is excellent. Very romantic atmosphere.

Here on business this week and looking to experience local favorites... We found one. the Meritage cafe was excellent! A party of four ; each of us selected differently and left satisfied . We recommend the seafood risotto, tuna and or Korean tacos. The handcrafted citrus vinaigrette was delicious ! We are likely to repeat a visit while here this... More

This place has the potential to be great but fell flat. I was so excited to see a restaurant advertise brunch with mimosas/bloody mary bar that I got a couple of friends to try it with me. The restaurant was dead there were only 3 other patrons there. I ordered a bloody mary but despite the advertisement of a bloody... More

Meritage is a quant place to have lunch. A wide variety of panini sandwich's are available. I highly recommend the Caravaggio Panini which salami, pepperoni, spicy capicolla, chopped olives, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, provolone & greggorio dressing. I can say it's very good. Located in the Uptown area of Columbus, GA. They are also open for dinner which I understand... More
