There were 16 in our party for a birthday lunch. They do the same rituals as every other Japanese steak house I have ever been to. They do a couple of things for the person that is celebrating the birthday but the attitude of the entire staff if as if they hate their jobs. I had a feeling of "... More

This was our first experience at a hibachi restaurant and hopefully there are better ones around other wise we might not try one again! We went there with our daughter for our grandson's birthday. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we did get seated and waited on quickly but it didn't get better from there. The waitress seemed a tad pushy... More

Had eaten here once before and thought I remembered being a little better. Had to wait about 30 minutes on a week night and food was just "so so."

Went here for lunch with a bunch of friends and we decided to have the hibachi.. Let me tell you, our cook, Joshua, was AWESOME!! He was soo funny and very skilled.. He made the whole experience that much better.. The food was good but he made it great.

This was not my first time to eat here. My friend took me here to celebrate my birthday for lunch yesterday. The service was acceptable- not great and not bad. Someone should let their wait staff in on a pretty well known secret: smiles don't cost them anything and being friendly and cordial may actually increase their tips! We were... More

Took the wife there, had to wait even though you could see there were plenty of empty tables but they did not have the staff to clean tables or servers to wait on new customers.

We eat here at least one every other month. The service and food are good most of the time but wait staff could be MUCH better to follow-up for drinks.

This was my first visit to the Kani House and we had a very good time. We were there for a birthday and they did a great job. Ivan was our chef and he did a great job. The food tasted great and Ivan's performance at the grill was outstanding.

The service (reg. restaurant side) is not the best but the food is good. It's the only Japanese restaurant (not fast food) in the Market Place Blvd area of Cumming. So you can shop, hit Cosco or JB's, and eat Japanese. It's good for families, meetings, couples. The hibachi is fun, like it is at most of these style restaurants,... More
