I have lived her for 10 years and I visit Picnic Cafe weekly. Either for coffee and a scone or a delicious soup and sandwich lunch. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup. The homemade desserts and cakes are wonderful. You will enjoy the friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere.

If you are looking for a wonderful small town cafe that serves delicious food then you must eat here. The presentation of just soup, sandwiches, salad is beautifully made. They also have fresh baked pastries and excellent coffee. Check them out

This is a wonderful cozy restaurant. The lady that served us was friendly and helpful. We had the homemade ice cream sandwich. They were awesome!

Friend works here and stopped in to see her. Cookies had just come out of oven so had one. Excellent chocolate chip cookie. Warm and enjoyable.

This is probably one of the best soup/sandwich shops I've ever eaten at. Everything is homemade from the egg salad (to die for), to the tomato bisque soup, to the 15 layer chocolate cake, to the homemade cracked wheat bread. They have a pimento BLT that sounds like an odd choice but is great with the tomato soup and chips.... More

Despite its silly name, this is a bakery and counter order restaurant combination. The bakery stuff--which I resisted--looked amazing. They were doing a lot of business on a Saturday afternoon moving those carbohydrates out of there. We ordered lunch, and were lucky to get the last table in the place. Good food = few available tables. I opted for a... More

The place had charm and that's why we went in, but never ever again. Tuna salad was awful and watery. Yuk!

Love love love this little coffee shop! Picnic doesn't stop at the great coffee, they also have a wide variety of sandwiches, soup, salad, and desserts to choose from. The quiche is a must have! Service is always fast and friendly and the prices are great if you want a satisfying meal on a budget.

Hubby had 2 apple danish, I had bacon, egg & cheese croissant. Excellent. Not much more to say, but have to use 100 characters.
