I can only base this review off of my one visit. I ordered the French Toast....it was okay. The spiced cream cheese was a nice addition.....my pecans were a little more than roasted....but the apples were really good. Friend ordered the same thing and for some reason she didn't have not one piece of pecan. The wait staff fixed it... More

Those of us in Dahlonega have seen the Corkscrew restaurant go through a number of changes from owners to concepts. Some semi worked, some didn't. Now the Corkscrew has re-invented it self again... While known as one of the best fine dinning experiences in Dahlonega, it has converted its upstairs to a martini bar, and made the old jail space... More

The new owner has created a dining experience only in the downstairs of this restaurant. He remade the upstairs a lounge. I don't care for the lounge. Chairs are oversized for the room. Although you can say they are comfy they are a cheap black oversized sway back chair. It's jumbled in there and the ambience seems like we should... More

A very enjoyable dinner with music combination! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions of things to do on our stay in Dahlonega. The menu was excellent. The hardest thing was to choose which one of the things we wanted to eat the most. But everything we ate was delicious. We will be back to... More

Great food! My sister and I ate here for lunch on a rainy day and the tomato bisque really warmed us up. Service was excellent!

My husband and I took a quiet weekend to Dahlonega and stopped her to eat and we were not disappointed. We ate on the enclosed patio and the sweet potato slaw was amazing and I highly recommend. The walk to the bathroom is really cool too, it was the old jail that they have preserved, I am a lover of... More

We had not been to Corkscrew in some time (mainly due to not very positive buzz) but we found ourselves in town and decided to give it a try. Sadly the buzz seems to be spot on. At 7:00pm on a Saturday night they were already out of 2 entrees. I decided to try the Rainbow trout which arrived swimming... More

We did not book in advance but we were able to get a table downstairs. Our server was great but the kitchen could not accommodate my wir'e's diet restrictions.

This used to be a great place for food. But it has had the same menu forever and quality has suffered. This past week end we had to send back food Things were served cold. Mashed potatoes were cold. Steak cold. Really the menu was the same forever but just does not meet a high standard. But prices are still... More

We agree with a couple of other reviews that said the quality of food has really gone done and certainly not as good as it has been in the past. We ate there Sunday for brunch as we have done in the past and all four of us were so disappointed. Two of us had to send ours back as... More
