My husband and I went for late dinner with drinks on Saturday night. The crowds had died down by the time we had arrived around 8:45. We were promptly seated by a bubbly hostess in a booth as we requested. Our server, Pierre, were quick to ask for our drink and appetizer order. He was unfamiliar with my drink of... More

We were seated very quickly and the food was delicious! Their chips and dip are delicious! I love their sweet tea and burritos, but i got the chimachanga with beef and was glad I did!

Went here on a Sunday . Had takeout. 10% off with church bulletin. $4.99 Margaritas, not bad. Service good. Need better greeting at the door. Enchiladas, Shrimp Fajitas were good. Prices were fair. Ample parking. Next time I will try happy hour and call Uber..

Food seems to be wayyy over cooked and overpriced for it. It used to be great but now everything we get is tough.

We happened on this place and were pleasantly surprised. The waiter was fun..and talked us into the BIG margarita... ( sadly wasted half of it ) My steak quesadilla was yummy with nice sides. The thin chips and salsa good too. Maybe we were just super hunger from riding the Silver Comet bike trail ?

Am not too sure what happened this evening but this was a pretty bad experience. We have eaten here before and had a great time. But tonight for some reason it was far from a good experience. Am not sure if our waitress was new or stressed or just not made to be a waitress. By the time she first... More

Food poisoning...twice. Will not go back to this location. The Acworth location, however, has never made the family ill. The food tasted fine, so we were all dismayed when we became violently ill 30 minutes after dining...twice.

After a previous bad experience, we returned with a 10% apology coupon in hand. Once again, the service was TERRIBLE. Our waiter took around 15 minutes just to acknowledge us. Then drinks were forever to arrive. He made a lame excuse proclaiming time and was off an hour. He couldn't blame the time change because it was in the opposite... More

La Cocina is consistant in many ways. It is always crowded (no reservations), very family oriented, attractive surroundings, a young energetic wait staff and very good food. The good news relative to the wait is their bar which specializes in margaritas ! As visitors to Dallas, we have been to La Cocina many times over the years. It is a... More

I liked it when all the employees were from either Mexico or somewhere in South America...gave it a more authentic atmosphere. It's now run and staffed by a bunch of young black and white kids. Didn't hear anyone speaking with even the slightest hint of a Spanish/Latino/Mexican/South American accent. Additionally, when I asked for hot sauce, they brought me Tobasco.... More
