We always stop here at least once when we are in town. I especially love their country fried steak and green beans. My husband got the chicken and stuffing. It was amazing. The staff is always cheerful and friendly.

Great place to eat! Everything I have tried here has been delicious! Their veggies are delicious - fried green tomatoes - fried pickles - fried okra - it's all good! You won't be disappointed. And to top it off - their creamy ice cream desserts are to die for. I hope you enjoy as much as we have for years.

My mom and I stopped here on our way to Ellijay Georgia...awesome lunch and great ice cream but our young waitress made it all perfect, she made you feel at home, wish I'd gotten her name...

With the owners now it seems to be trying to improve the food. I really wish they would pay more attention to the dari burgers and make them like they were 20+ years ago. And not price them like they are made of gold.

I don't recall it being so bad, but my last visit was indeed the last time I'll ever go here. I ordered the open faced roast beef, typically a favorite dish of mine, and it was SO bland. The gravy was gross, the meat had a strange texture, it was lukewarm... it just wasn't good. Another time I tried the... More

Good southern style food with excellent deserts. The staff just bends over backwards for you. I have ate here many times over the years and have never been disappointed!

Been here many times and have always been happy. Service is good, place is clean, plenty of seating. They have a wide variety on their menu. They offer ice cream and such, but I'm always so full that I can't eat dessert... Ample parking and pretty easy to find. One word of advise.. Call them to make sure they are open if... More

Description
Dari Dip is a family owned and operated business serving Lafayette since 1953. Dari Dip is some place more than an ice cream store... Their seafood, rib-eyes, and ice cream offering are not to be missed. This long time restaurant is worth a visit for the vintage building and neon sign work. The food is traditional Southeast American in its offering--all prepared hot with generous portions. Service is friendly and attentive, with milkshakes so thick a spoon will stand up in them indefinitely if you turn the glass upside down.
