It was always a cozy meat and vegetable place, I came here on a Groupon basically half-price and the food was not even worth that. Mashed potatoes for soup, green beans are OK, chocolate pie is fresh out of the grocery store freezer I was really disappointed, here I am here at lunchtime and there's only three people eating. After... More

Great value with a Groupon. Pancakes and country ham Great. Primarily a breakfast hangout... not a dinner place. Very casual.

Always see plenty of cars at this place so decided to give it a try - what a major mistake. Ordered Country Fried Steak with Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes and Biscuits. Was informed 15 minutes later that they were out of Green Beans so switched to Fried Okra. 30 minutes later meal came out with home fries instead of mashed... More

The building itself lets you know that this place has history. Part of the history of Marietta apparently this restaurant is about 100 years old. The food was amazingly home made tasting. Very family oriented, and doesn't have a corporate feel. Nice, clean, old fashion look and feel. Best of all the food was great.

Stopped for breakfast as I have many times before. I nearly left because it took so long to be acknowledged by the wait staff. The eggs and bacon were prepared perfectly; however, the biscuits were way over cooked and the gravy was thin and tasteless. I'm hoping this experience was just a 'one of'. I must warn folks, though, that... More

What can I say... service was a bit on the slow side but really friendly. I guess since it's all cooked to order, it takes a little longer than some other places. The location is right next to Kennesaw Mountain and it lends a kind of country charm although it is minutes from downtown Marietta. The food itself is tasty... More

We stopped in for a bite when Mountain Biscuit was closed, what a mistake! Sat down in a dark, dirty booth and waited...until we got up and left. I can't believe this still happens, but it does in this place. Never greeted, never acknowledged. Guess we didn't fit the profile. Memo to those tooo busy chatting to even make eye... More

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, and neither from the inside, but it shouldn't! It's a really neat "old place" to eat a fantastic southern breakfast or lunch. From what our waiter (come to find out was the owner!) told us, is that Louise's Restaurant started out as a trading post when Louise opened it back in... More

Very friendly service and delicious home cooked meals. Louise's was the location for the movie, "Into The Woods", cool pictures. We'll be back, on Sunday they close at 1PM.

Recent health score 97. If this establishment were a book, it would be somewhat rough both outside and in. But don't judge this book by either cover or content, because the place is pretty good. The worst part is the parking lot - full of potholes and irregular spots; park with caution! They serve breakfast and lunch except closed Mondays.... More
