This is not your traditional food establishment... this is a cordial blend of pub style eatery with a hint of european flair... I celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday with her roommate and my wife. We were seated at the front tables adjacent their bar.. it...More
It’s not an ordinary selection of foods, based on the other restaurants in the area. I enjoy Greek food and this gives you just a touch of that flavor. Good gyros and souvlaki. Decor is very dated, dingy and dark, and the wait staff is...More
A small Greek/Italian restaurant in downtown Milledgeville. I had grilled tilapia with grilled vegetable over Basmati rice. The fish was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were a little over cooked, but not too bad. Overall, a nice meal.
My wife andI both had salads, both were good but not exceptional. Service was a little slow. Waiter was obsequious, rather than polite and fast.

Metropolis has great food (Indian on Thursdays) for a reasonable price and the service is attentive. The space itself could use some TLC, but the Greek nachos, dolmades, and wraps have all been terrific in my many many visits there. Highly recommend!
Ate here twice during our week at the Milledgeville Film Festival and would definitely return when in town in the future. Yum.
