For a happy hour home, this is it! Great selection of craft beer on tap and tasty appetizers. The live music is an added bonus. Sit outside in the front seating area or in the bar. Good service and friendly people. Try it and you'll...More

We had been here once before (we do not live in Rome, we travel through several times a year) and the food was good. Actually some of the best we had found on our bi-weekly trips through Rome. We were headed back home after a...More

We had heard great things about this place before going. Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been. Upon walking in, it smelled like a college bar, stale beer mixed with puke. The floor was so sticky we had to kick our chairs...More

One thing I generally do prior to ordering in a restaurant is to check the most recent health rating score. If it's not high, then we don't stay. Having worked in food service while putting myself through school, I am well aware of appropriate good...More

We had lunch for four at Harvest Moon on a busy summer afternoon in Rome. It was a Saturday and there was a bit of wait. The food selection was great and there were even several very healthy options. I had a grain bowl and...More

We stopped in for lunch on a weekday around 1. It was crowded, but we were seated within 15 minutes. While the entrees and the sweet potato chips appetizer were tasty, it was the smaller details that needed attention. I cleaned our table with a...More

We were in town for an event and Harvest Moon was recommended by our receptionist. I had the veggie plate and chose fried green tomatoes, fried okra and cheese grits. I was very pleased with the fried green tomatoes. They were similar to what I...More

Terrible Shrimp and grits. It was soup. There was no texture to the grits because it was drowned by the heavy, soupy cream. When the server asked how it was I told her it was soup. She said “Oh, yeah”. That was it. My friend...More

Harvest Moon Cafe prepares everything from scratch. We source locally whenever possible and our shrimp is wild from the Golf coast. Much of our produce is provided by Big Cedar Creek Farm and Double Bit Farm. Our jams, jellies and preserves are made in house with local seasonal fruit. We provide an eclectic and comfortable environment where locals and tourists alike, enjoy hanging out. The food is awesome and the servers are friendly and efficient.
