We really liked our dinner at Palmers. Standards like spice rubbed chicken and shrimp & grits were successful. But the parsnip custard was outrageously good, as was the white chocolate torte. Service was outstanding, meaningfully attentive, completely knowledgeable. I hope we're lucky enough to return. The menu changes every two weeks to keep fresh & local.

We ate breakfast here 3 times while in town for the month. The pancakes are really good! My husband isn't usually a pancake guy, but he loved the blueberry oat pancakes and I loved the banana pudding pancakes. Nice little cafe atmosphere, good service, we loved it.

We ate here two times in four days because of the delicious brunch offerings. We had eggs and pancakes. The pancakes are huge, and delicious. So, if you go, be sure you're hungry.

My wife and I go to Palmer's virtually every day of our annual visits to St. Simon's. Palmer greets his customers with warm, Southern charm, which extends to all of his wait staff. The food is excellent! And don't be put off by all the people you see lined up outside most mornings. They're there for a reason! It's the... More

This was our 1st time on St. Simon Island. We checked Restaurant Reviews for lunch and the Palmer Village Cafe came up as #1. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! Turns out they serve Breakfast through lunch, so I ordered Two of their Pancakes loaded with Blueberries plus Oatmeal & Nuts. The pancakes come with the restaurant's own pancake syrup. The Pancakes... More

Our tour guide, Rod, with Colonial Tours, recommended Palmer's so we thought we would try it. Great recommendation. I had the Chef special, shrimp omelette. The only thing better was watching the Palmer's team in action. I was facing the kitchen area and was fascinated by the pace and teamwork of the staff. One guy brings me coffee and two... More

A friend and I stopped for lunch here and were glad we did. Their challah bread is used for most sandwiches and is delicious. I had a carrot and ginger soup that was very unique and tasty. Palmers is mostly a breakfast place. The pancakes are huge! I'll be back! I want to try everything!

In all the years we have been coming to St Simon's we have never made it to Palmer's. Well, I can say that is our loss! The atmosphere was warm and friendly and service was awesome. We had breakfast this trip and it really hit the spot. The pancakes were the best! We will be back.

After a week on the Island of St. Simon, Georgia, and a unique dining eating experience each day, we are obligated to credit Palmer Village Cafe as providing the most tantalizing culinary experience for both breakfast and dinner of the entire week. The Butternut squash soup, Potato crusted jumbo red shrimp, Seared Amberjack curried seafood stew and rice, and Seared... More
