Very friendly servers. Generous portions of great food! This is a great place for a date. The private booths are a nice touch.

From the time we entered we knew that we were in an authentic setting. The first telltale sign was no advertisement for Budweiser. Not that bud is a bad thing but if I see it ina Japanese restaurant then I'm ready to bolt. The wait staff was smart, efficient, helpful fast and so customer oriented that I almost did not... More

I have been dining at Minato for about 4 years. I was hesitant to try it at first - it is located in a little shopping area behind a gas station. Don't let that deter you! The staff is friendly and warm - they even play with my 2-yr old daughter. The sushi is simple and always fresh. We love... More

Came here on recommendation; was not disappointed!! I arrived around the dinner opening time (5:30pm), and the place quickly filled seats. Quickly and warmly greeted, sat at sushi bar. Unbelievably large portions and so fresh. They have a dinner selection that looked too large to finish, but everything on the platter was so good, I did finish...even after two large... More

Place was referred to us to try. The location was a little deceiving but man was it worth it! Busy, eclectic spot with very tasty food. I will return and am looking forward to trying different foods. Good eating and nice experience

Close to our hotel so we walked. Fantastic service made our kids feel welcome. Helped with the menu for the younger ones, suggested drinks and sushi for the older ones. Had a great night. THANK YOU

The sushi was wonderful and very fresh, the wait staff was SO on top of everything and the portions HUGE!!! The location is convenient but it is no doubt a hole in the wall - we drove past it twice despite Google maps telling us we were there. (It is on the back side / lower level of a small... More
