Don't let the weird location fool you. This place is the real deal! Went in for dinner after looking at other reviews and was not disappointed. Sign said 'seat yourself' so I chose a booth in the middle of the room. Behind the counter you...More

I drove 3 1/2 hours just to eat lunch here. The best ketchup based BBQ in the South. Great service, great sweet, fat french fries, and good company. If you come in on Sunday afternoon, plan to wait for a table, but it will be...More

I have eaten here many times. I sat myself - I arrived when they were ending breakfast and starting lunch. They are always busy. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. I was greeted immediately upon arrival - I ordered a...More

We live the Hickory House breakfast and were just there Saturday. It’s an old restaurant and building, so don’t expect anything fancy. It’s just good food and ok coffee (not strong). I normally get an egg, bacon, grits and toast. Good

I've been to this place several times, only because of the convenience. Once again, we were let down. The ribs were horrible. The brunswick stew was too watery. The only good things were the sweet tea and the pleasantness of the waitresses. I've had breakfast...More

I've heard about this establishment that once had several locations in the Atlanta area. Now, there is one left standing. It was what I expected - not elegant (at all), worn seat backs with scarred wood, and a down-home type of place. We went on...More
