This food was superb! We both had a grits-based dish (one shrimp, one fried oysters). The restaurant is small, so I would suggest a reservation be made. We ended up eating at the upstairs bar. We almost didn't stay, but we are so glad we...More

We had a gift card so decided to try it out. We wound up just getting a dessert. We weren't impressed with the menu items, but that's just us. I've heard others that loved it.

The food, the atmosphere, the DRINKS, everything was great. I very RARELY write reviews, unless it absolutely deserves it, and Steel Magnolias does! From the moment you walk in you are treated to real Georgia hospitality. One of the best meals I have ever had.

I have never been to a restaurant with so many uses for pimento cheese! Very well done! Definitely worth the trip to downtown Valdosta!

We found Steel Magnolias on a lunch stop in Valdosta as we were fleeing Hurricane Irma and were delighted. First, the staff was so helpful. We had our dog with us and since he isn't allowed inside and the tables on the sidewalk were full,...More

Try Steel Mags out, you won't be disappointed! Shrimp and grits are awesome but they have steaks, salads, etc. that are all awesome as well!! The rooftop bar/dining area is really nice when the weather allows and they have live music sometimes!

I'm not actually sure if they take reservations. It shouldn't be necessary. I wouldn't worry about making a reservation unless I wanted to make sure I got a particular table, such as a streetview table on the roof, or had a... More

I am unaware of a brunch that they serve. I have only eaten lunch there, so unfortunately I don't have an answer regarding brunch.
