We were traveling on I75 in Georgia and turned in to Valdosta for the night. Found Steel Magnolias and ate there on the southern leg and our return leg. Four dinners. All of them were excellent, steak, scallops, short ribs, eggplant parmigiana, with excellent appetizers. Try the deviled eggs with spoked pork. The kitchen brigade, in full view of first... More

Three floors of differing experiences; the downstairs large open, warm and inviting with a packed audience heartily enjoying the excellent dishes on offer, the gorgeous bar on the second with a private room for hire and then the third and top floor.....overlooking N. Patterson Street and on this cool evening, space heaters provided warmth so our table could drink their... More

The food is extraordinary. The ambiance is lacking. Wall seating for couples. The only way you can get a table in open spaces is to have a party of 4 or larger. It's a place for upscale, local regulars and worth the trip. I

Beautiful scenery expensive.not worth the money.food is not good there is not alot on your plate.they don't have enough of the same wine. The waitress was not friendly and the staff did not act warm. The food had no seasonings on it.The bathrooms are clean and beautiful.the roof top is beautiful.

The service was excellent, and in a charming restaurant environment. The food was everything I'd read it was. We had the Deviled Eggs & the Won-Tons, both were delicious - different, yet familiar. Can't wait to return.

I have eaten here on many occasions, and had always meant to post a review. I am glad am finally doing so, so that I can add my voice to those who love this restaurant. The location is downtown in a building that has seen several restaurants, but the owners have made the place comfortable and airy while preserving what... More
