Stopped in for lunch and we four great lunches. Chicken fried steak was perfect and came with choice of brown or white gravy. Halibut cheeks were big and filling. We also loved the wraps, burgers, sandwiches, choice of potatoes - even tots! Nice bar, booth...More

Get there early or plan to wait. The Prime Rib is the best it melts in your mouth! Service was attentive but not overwhelming. We'll be back again and again. We can't wait to try the halibut chunks and prawns

Although far from a traditional Inn, the Stagecoach has some of the best food and service in the city. I've been a regular there since the 70's. They are famous for their Bar Prawns and Halibut Chunks but don't stop there...their Cocktails, Steaks and Prime...More

Our son and daughter-in-law took us here while visiting Boise. Being from Kansas City, which is known for their great steak houses, we were interested in what another city might have to offer. We really liked the atmosphere of this place. It is just like...More

I recently came to the Stagecoach Inn for lunch with several of my friends. As I awaited their arrival, I saw many old timers coming for lunch at one of their favorite restaurants. There were seven of us and the hostess quickly set up a...More

Traditional steakhouse with decent portions. Nothing adventurous or gourmet, but a satisfying dinner at decent prices. Service was good.

We ordered drinks. I ordered a amaretto sour. Usually the amaretto is served on top. It was light on the Amaretto and the sour was not that good. I than ordered the shrimpkin dinner and asked for 2 breast for the chicken. Apparently the waitress...More

Everything on the menu is great. Happy hour does not extend to the dining room and this is a bummer because the bar is always crowded!

We love good food and this was just ok. We heard the Jumbo Prawns were the best so got those plus the halibut chucks. But both were heavily fried and not juicy or nice. The service was great and friendly and attentive. Ambiance was as...More

A landmark in the Treasure Valley, the Stagecoach Inn steakhouse serves up top notch meals, sincere hospitality, and honest value in both food and drink. Founded in 1959 by Willie Schrier, the restaurant is a true fixture of the community. After a change of ownership and brief closing in 2014 the "Coach" is back. In January 2015 the Stagecoach Inn was reborn, with its new owners committed to restoring the landmark Garden City restaurant to its former glory and re-inventing the familiar, comfortable atmosphere they too had enjoyed for so many years.
