Traditional steakhouse with decent portions. Nothing adventurous or gourmet, but a satisfying dinner at decent prices. Service was good.

We ordered drinks. I ordered a amaretto sour. Usually the amaretto is served on top. It was light on the Amaretto and the sour was not that good. I than ordered the shrimpkin dinner and asked for 2 breast for the chicken. Apparently the waitress...More

Everything on the menu is great. Happy hour does not extend to the dining room and this is a bummer because the bar is always crowded!

We love good food and this was just ok. We heard the Jumbo Prawns were the best so got those plus the halibut chucks. But both were heavily fried and not juicy or nice. The service was great and friendly and attentive. Ambiance was as...More

The Stagecoach has the best prawns in Boise, and lots of comfort food favorites. Daily specials include things like liver and onions (Thursday), cod with chips (Friday), and lots of terrific foods. I promise whatever you get will be good. Their chicken fried steak is...More

It definitely looks it's age and is famous for it's food. No pretending to be anything more than what they have been doing well for decades. The Jumbo Prawns and Tenderloin Tips were fantastic.

GREAT again. We had 6 for a table at about 5PM. Hour wait😣. We were not the only ones waiting. Greeter says, Would you mind 2 booths together? No more hour wait. Bottom line is 'make reservations'! Thanks

I am very surprised after coming for dinner on a Saturday night in early May that this restaurant gets good reviews. Our waitress was fine, not bad, but not too friendly. The food was the problem though. ( As well as the very loud noise...More

A landmark in the Treasure Valley, the Stagecoach Inn steakhouse serves up top notch meals, sincere hospitality, and honest value in both food and drink. Founded in 1959 by Willie Schrier, the restaurant is a true fixture of the community. After a change of ownership and brief closing in 2014 the "Coach" is back. In January 2015 the Stagecoach Inn was reborn, with its new owners committed to restoring the landmark Garden City restaurant to its former glory and re-inventing the familiar, comfortable atmosphere they too had enjoyed for so many years.
