Yuck! Will never go here again. Food was gross, had to send back my potato skins, I couldn’t even cut into them, clam chowder was runny. Husband had fajitas, so greasy it left grease all over the table. Very run down, carpet under table is...peeled up. Happy hour drinks are cheap and they pour heavy, so that’s nice. Waitress was very nice, so that was good.More

Great sports atmosphere and amazing pizza! I had the BBQ chicken pizza, which was even better than as described on the menu. If you are looking for a mixed drink, I recommend the Cricket Cooler. Outdoor seating is a must if the weather is nice.

we called here on Thursday for lunch they has seating outside on the street and the menu seamed ok, we asked if ok to sit down and was told to just pop inside and let them know we sat water and menus followed, after a...few min was asked if we would like to order a drink we did along with 2 philly stake sandwiches one with fries the other with salad. We sat enjoying the world go buy but after 20 min asked about our food we didn't get a answer so 30 min i went inside to ask to be told the kitchen was busy ( not many people in ) they was a delay on food so i said we was not told this when we placed our order. The manager was called over i explained again and said to forget the food and i would just pay for the drinks,I then went back outside to wait for our bill when it didn't arrive went back in and asked for the manager to be told she was in the kitchen when she did come out it was with our food and she did offer a discount and it was ready so went back to my husband and we agreed to stay we was also offered complimentary drinks. The food well even the manager agreed the french fries had to be replaced before the food was taken to us, I might be from UK but I know that stake with cheese on is NOT a philly stake sandwich so was very disappointed it was also cold. the salad had raw mushrooms now not come across that one , we finished and left the manager was very nice along with the female servers the male i found not good service , sorry guys we won't be back you need to get your act together. i found it hard to rate this first it was going to be 1* but 2 things gave it the 2 extra * the manager actions and the fact i left my water bottle and was caught up to be given it has given them the 2 *.More

Service and food was horrible. Oyster Rockefeller was really bad, and I love All kinds of oysters. The pizza was sloppy wet. No small plates were given to individuals. So we all bent over the wet pizza dish. We ordered beer and she forgot and...we had to remind her. Then we orders a second round of drinks and she forgot again. Our second time there in 6 months. We will not go back again. Nice atmosphere!More

We live out of town, so when we make a trip out to CDA we usually stop at Crickets for food. Before the new owners took over we enjoyed going there and the food was great. It’s called an oyster bar because there were so...many options for oysters. We’ve tried Crickets after the new ownership twice now and we have been so disappointed both times. There aren’t that many oyster options now, they used to have really good breaded oysters. And the oyster shooters are pricy now. Which is a bummer. Last nights meal will be the last time we go there. We arrived around 930 pm. There were about ten tables throughout the restaurant and patio. And it looked like only two servers, but only about half the tables had food. We were handed the late night menu because they didn’t have enough cooks. The late night menu consisted of over priced appetizers, soups, salads, oysters and pizza. We were very disappointed since we drove all the way there for the pasta la casa and French dip. We ordered the chicken wings and substitute onion rings for fries, which costed a few more dollars and we were ok with that. We also ordered the nachos, which the menu said it came with queso cheese which is the main reason why we ordered the nachos. Waited ONE HOUR for food. Food that all you had to do was deep fry and toss toppings on tortilla chips. Our food was cold. Onion rings were cold, the $22 chicken wings were cold and over cooked that the meat was so dry, there was hardly any meat. The $18 nachos were cold. The shredded cheese was cold that it was a huge chunk of sadness. We understand being understaffed, but as the owners you should see that it’s affecting your business and take action. Close part of the restaurant so you can focus more on the fewer tables and not over work your staff. We were just so disappointed, the restaurant has gone downhill since the new owners. I give this restaurant a zeroMore

The saddest, sorriest little oysters I’ve ever encountered. The baked potato was brown inside (in Idaho!) and slathered with a bunch of stuff I didn’t ask for - apparently an attempt to hide the awful potato. My son’s fish was edible, but soggy chips (fries)...were of no interest. What a poor excuse for an “oyster bar”. Pleasant sidewalk seating and friendly servers are about all you can say for this place.More

One of the best we have been to in a long time. Chowder and oysters were fresh and tasty. The pasta, Alfredo, was one that I would eat with a smile. Usually I don't care for that dish but the sauce was the best I...I tried. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating!More

I am warning you right now....do not order oysters at the Cricket “Oyster Bar”. Tonight I ordered the oyster combo which is 6 oysters prepared 3 different ways. I ordered them because pan fried oysters were no longer on the menu because of staff shortages....My six oysters were delivered to me and I was speechless. I could not believe I was presented 6 oysters at a cost of $18.00 that were the size of 6 soft contact lenses. My biggest regret was not taking a photo because nobody will really know how small these oysters really were without documentation. I showed my server who talked with the manager who comped me a $5.00 happy hour glass of wine. Crickets is a sports bar with good bar food, good service and drinks. Just don’t be fooled by their sign outside the building which reads OYSTER BAR. The few times I have written a review has always been for outstanding food and/or service so this is new to me as I am not a whiner. Tonight however, I needed to share the other side of the hobby my wife and I enjoy so much.More

This place has outside seating front and back. The back area is more enjoyable because you avoid street noise. It offers lots of menu options. We had crab and shrimp pizza, salmon with veggies, and signature salad. All were well prepared, presented, and tasty. Service...was very good.More

I am local, and we have eaten at this Restaurant 20 times in the past 5 years. The last 3-4 times the service and food has slipped. 7-25-2021, 4pm. Group of 7. Ordered our food and waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food....When it arrived my Oldest Son's Pizza was burnt, my Youngest Son's Mac and Cheese was Ice Cold. My friends Caesar Salad was hot. The rest of the food was average at best. Nothing like we had grown used to having. When I complained to the manager about the wait and the food, she told us they are extremely understaffed, and offered to give us $7.00 off on the pizza and we were offered a basket of Free Fries to replace the frozen Mac and Cheese. I understand being understaffed. If that is the case reduce your seating so the wait staff and kitchen can keep up. I got the impression the Manager just did not care. That is unfortunate. Luckily Coeur d' Alene is full of amazing Restaurant's. We will search out a new favorite.More
