This is a cool restaurant and distillery located next to the Hilton Garden Inn Eagle. The food is solid and the chipotle chicken sandwich is a standout. My only knock on the food was that some of the grilled items (salmon/pork chop) tended to stay...More

We brought the family. Everyone was pleased with their selection. I had the salmon dinner and it was very good. We thought we'd top off dinner with dessert. That was a mistake; carrot rum cake was dry and no flavor of rum. The chocolate cake...More

Thanks for your review and feedback. We usually have moist, delicious cake. Sounds like it was an off-night. Regardless ,we will share your comments with our team so we can keep improving. Thanks!

We arrived at 5:30, notice that they had for large screen televisions. One was on golf, second one was baseball, and the last two were on pre-game coverage for the football game. I ask the waiter to change the two screens that had the football...More

This is a great place for casual dining. Entrees are on the "high" side of pricing, but that is probably reflective of the rent. It has a fun atmosphere that is quite scenic along the Boise River.

You must try the trout - mouthwatering. Go ahead and order a salad on the side - the dinner will be perfect.

We went here with some friends that live in the area. We were seated on the patio, which was very pleasant. We had the "Trout Spread" appetizer, which was very good. My friend ordered his cheeseburger with no mayo, but they screwed up and put...More

Hello! Sorry hear about the salad, it's typically a well received dish. I wonder if something was off in the prep? I would recommend the Panzanella bruschetta salad with grilled shrimp for your wife on your next trip. I would recommend the Hagerman Trout for...More

Love this place for patio dining - lovely setting and it is not so noisy. Food and service great. Fun, upbeat place catering to the 30+ age group. Cocktails and appitizers are delicious. Easy parking and friendly staff.

Description
Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is located in a once empty warehouse on the Historic Basque Block in downtown Boise, Idaho. On April 25th, 2000, history was made when we served the first cocktail to included spirits distilled in a restaurant in the US. As the nation's first restaurant distillery, Bardenay has set an industry precedent as the first full service restaurant and bar with the ability to create handcrafted liquor on-site. Our distillers are happy to give tours as time allows. Please ask your server if you are interested in a closer look at our operations. p.s. We are only allowed to sell our fine spirits by the drink. If you would like to purchase a bottle, you may do so at many of our state liquor stores.
