We had some outstanding food while staying at the Red Lion in Lewiston, Idaho. The presentation was nice but the taste was amazing. The view from the dining room was great too.

We were disappointed with the breakfast that was served. The menu had waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Ten minutes later they came back and said they did not have fresh strawberries or whipped cream--but they had some frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries). They came with a small bowl of cold berries and very little "whipped" cream. The cost... More

We had two breakfasts and one dinner this past weekend, with opposite experiences. The oatmeal and eggs at breakfast were old-tasting. The service was unacceptable one morning with a sullen and incompetent servicer, and adequate with a friendly server the second. Dinner on the patio, while slow in coming, was quite acceptable with cheery service.

I've dined here many times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food has always been excellent, with the chef(s) doing a commendable job in its preparation. Steaks have been cooked as ordered and vegies not overcooked. Sauces/dressings have been very good and sometimes unique. The beef served is "certified black angus" and is at least a choice grade or better.... More

did not like the waitstaff, or lack thereof, breakfast meals were good. Prices are a bit high for families. business folk would find this average priced.

It was a very good meal, that was included with the room. The service was good not great. If it was not with the room it would of been pricey.

I enjoyed the ambiance and convenience of the restaurant, but I found the food insanely overpriced for the quality. I took a colleague out to dinner and her food arrived not as described on the menu. They brought her a side of vegetables to attempt to make it right, but since when do you have a pot pie with only... More

You have a variety of choices. They have remodeled and I haven't been in since the remodeling. If you want to have Thursday turkey lunch buffet, be sure you get there before 12:30PM. They will run out of the choices rather early.

We stayed at the Red Lion so it was incredibly convenient to have breakfast here. It is virtually impossible to make a bad breakfast, they however accomplished that task! YIKES Both of us were astonished how bad it turned out! We both ordered omelets; they were cold, the cheese inside and outside was NOT melted. The sautéed ingredients were NOT... More
