Although its not too easy to find, its worth stopping in for friendly atmosphere and fabulous pies. Try the elderberry-raspberry pie and you will not be disappointed.

Was recommended from friends. Was not disappointed. The chicken fried steak was great. So was the bread. I had heard a lot about this place but only today finally made it in to eat. I have nothing bad to say. Great!

Not a ton of choices, but that means what they do is usually great. The prices are a little high, but we still go for the homemade taste. It is packed on Friday nights for the prime rib. We have had lunch and dinner and once stopped in just for some pie. Still haven't made it for breakfast, but hoping... More

We searched it out, planning on dropping in on a Saturday on our way to another destination. The restaurant is not much to look at, but that's part of its charm. The front of the building has old farm equipment and a few leather items nailed to the wall. Inside, it's a classic diner. The shelves are decorated with a... More

Really good fresh hamburgers and homemade fries and fry-sauce! We enjoyed our lunch, friendly service, and look forward to returning for a prime rib dinner and homemade rolls on a Friday or Saturday...understand they sell out early, its so good!

We went with family to the Rusty Lantern because we heard about the good food. It looks like a little "hole in the wall" place stuck between some old buildings but if that is all you see, you are missing out. The employees are terrific, the atmosphere is special with all of the antiques and such. The place is very... More

This little restaurant in Ucon, Idaho is a surprisingly good place to go. It can't compete with city restaurants with lots of customers, but if you're in the area and hungry, you can avoid a drive into town. We've eaten there a few times and never been disappointed. The service and prices are OK, and the food is better. And... More
