This is not the place to come if you're trying to eat light and healthy. For the rest of us, oh my heavens it's good. We've been several times and we usually get one order of stuffed cabbage and one combination platter; and end up...More

The Riverside restaurant has great Eastern European food they're stuffed peppers being my favorite. They also make great strudel. Comfort food at its best.

Good pork, saurkraut and dumplings. Homemade soups and good desserts all incuded in the meals. Fruit dumplings good too, only a little extra wait.

The Garlic soup was delicious, the duck OMG, mouth watering. Couldn't have picked a better place. The beer was Ice Cold (great price) and my girl had a glass of wine. If your ever in Chicago. A must go to.

This is one of those places you go for nostalgia of how grandma cooked and you have a taste for it. Not sure why, but I love their duck.

I think you should call the restaurant and ask to speak to the new owner. He is very nice and always comes to the table to ask customers how their meals are, if they have any suggestions, etc. I think he would be very open... More

The new owner is very customer friendly and responsive to requests. I'd call or stop by and just ask him if they'd add your favorites back.
