My husband and I have been many times with family and friends over the past couple of years and we've always enjoyed it. The staff is always friendly and I love that we get to put exactly what we want into our dinner bowls -- makes everyone happy! Prices are a little high for what you get (I usually don't... More

My nephew visited this restaurant on a recruiting trip and he loves it. So naturally while we were in town he wanted to go. The place was fairly empty for the time of day we went (6pm). But they were very friendly and prompt. I think he likes the idea that you get to pick your meal. There is a... More

Food didn't taste fresh. Sauces weren't good. Just not a good place to eat when you have so many other better options around.

Good Mongolian meal! Great cocktails. Very friendly staff. Desert was so-so. I would recommend this place to try - not your standard Mongolian grill.

We went to 301 Mongolia because the other restaurants in the area had long waits on a Saturday night. Clearly the lack of a wait was an indication that 301 Mongolia is not attracting large crowds. It is a "select your own ingredient and we will hot iron cook the food for you" type of place (like Flat-top Grill). A... More

We went here for lunch on a Friday where they offer unlimited servings. Make sure you take a sampling of all the sauces and fill tow cups up with the sauce. I had teriyaki which okay. It needed more ginger. If I go back I will mix the teriyaki and ginger sauces in an attempt to get a true teriyaki..... More

This place needs to be competitive and lower their prices they charge way too much money. Ryan's or Chinatown Buffet are much more cost effective buffets and you have a much wider variety at both of the competitors.

It's my first time in Champaign and I decided to check the place out. The interior looks good. I'm still on the fence about whether or not their choice of top 40ish techno/EDM is right best choice. Most importantly, their food id delicious. If you're craving stir-fry in central IL, this might be the place for you.

You pick out all your meats, veggies and sauces and then they cook it for you. It is similar to Flat Top Grill, only more expensive. I actually prefer Flat Top. Better veggie choices.

We were disappointed. The sauce choices I made were pretty tasteless. The server had to explain to us how it worked (put meat in the little bowl) I tried "soup" the second round. Once again, no flavor. I don't know what that "bread" was supposed to be. It is a choice on the little slip of paper you fill out.... More
