Friend wanted to celebrate his birthday with Mexican and BYOB. Mixteco popped up and was the perfect choice. Very good Mexican fare and they allow all alcohol for BYOB. We brought tequila, they provided the Marg mix and away we went. Def check Mixteco out! I had the Cochinita Pibil which was good, but not spicy enough at first so... More

This is a casual, comfortable, neighborhood restaurant. The service is relaxed, friendly, and efficient. The food is excellent. I went with a couple of colleagues; we followed some of the waiter's suggestions; and we were very happy with our choices. The chef seems to be a master of sauces. All of the appetizers were great. We especially enjoyed the empanadas.... More

Went to Mixteco with my husband and another couple. We had a fabulous dinner. I ordered the grilled salmon special. The serving size was huge and delicious. Everyone's entree was fresh and wonderful. The waiters aim to please, are friendly and knowledgeable. BYOB and RSVPS are helpful. Two thumbs up!

This is not your average ho-hum Mexican restaurant. Though it is a smaller, neighborhood restaurant, the food is what you would expect from a much higher end place. The flavors were delicious, the servers were friendly and attentive, and we loved watching the tortillas being pressed and cooked in the open kitchen. We will definitely go back!

Always excellent. This place has innovative and elevated Mexican food. My friends always get the pork entrees and very happy. My husband likes the calamari salad and as a vegetarian, there are always several options for me. And another plus is that it's byob and they provide frosty glasses to accommodate whatever drink you bring. Highly recommend.

This is a popular and very good restaurant with BYOB. The service is very good for how busy they are. Their beef is outstanding as is their fish – always something new and exciting.

This is Mexican cuisine that is recognized by the UNESCO as World Heritage. Sounds authentic to me, and the Chef was trianed by Rick Bayless from Frontera Grill. Need I say more? The mole is to die for and has over 23 ingredients. Dinner for 4 including dessert, $142 plus gratutity. Wonderful!

I had the crepes and was blown away by how good it was. The appetizers, too, were filled with cheese and amazing. Will definitely be back.

Every time we can't decide where to meet a couple to show them someplace new, we choose Mixteco. The food is outstanding as everyone has always agreed . The fact that this place is BYOB has lead us to become creative with our cocktail selections to bring. Mole sauce is the best and the lamb chops are die for!
