Good selection of beer. Very crowded, but friendly service. Bartender very knowledgeable of their beer selection. Would have liked to try their food.

Was in town on vacation and stumbled across this place being close to my hotel. Had a great enjoyable time here on a Friday night for some drinks and dinner. Have a great selection of beers! Our server was very helping in helping us select a great beer. The service was fast. (it was packed) Food and drinks came out... More

This was a cute place with very interesting decor - lots of antique books and decorations and a ton of old taps everywhere, which was cool. Their beer selection was pretty varied and we liked all the beers we tried. They had quite a few TVs playing the game (it was during the Cubs world series GO CUBS!) and our... More

Good selection of beer and spirits for a quick drink with colleagues after work and meetings. Also went for lunch between business meetings, found space for 9 people, and had really good / quick service. The food is really tasty too.

We went in one night and ate, we only went for the wide range of beers but as the staff where friendly and the beer good we stayed for food. Food was good, beer was good. Price was a little heavy. Next day we went back, just wanting to sit at the bar for a quick drink, it was totally... More

My friends and I ended up at Monk's after the pizza joint was packed. The exterior intrigued us, so we stopped in. We were very surprised! Great appetizers, drinks weren't too pricey and they had a great selection of drinks! Our waitress was courteous and timely. The next time I'm in the Windy City, I'll be back here.

This is a cool European Pub. Probably a 100 different beers and the atmosphere is old world. The service is very good and friendly. The food is is really good and the burgers and sandwiches are exceptional. The sides are unique as well. A nice casual pub.

Monk's Pub is a unique find in the loop. They have an excellent beer list that will make beer lovers very happy. The service we received was all right, nothing special. What makes this bar special is the ambiance and atmosphere.

One of the coolest pub/tap-house I have ever been. Its the coolest thing to have a complementing peanuts that you can eat and throw the shells to the ground!
