Look, there is nothing I love more than a Cuban espresso and they do a really great espresso. I just loved everything about this place and I was so happy to find it. It's super quiet in the morning, but I can only imagine that it picks up over the rest of the day.

The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. I had the black bean soup which was very tasty but a little on the salty side. The guava and Swiss cheese sandwich was excellent. I wasn't so sure about the combination but it was so good! The only disappointment was my mocha latte which was weak and bland. I'd... More

Decent size cafe serving a variety of Salads, Sandwiches, and platters of delicious cuban food. The cafe is located below an apartment building with the entrance inside the building so it may throw you off, but it's well worth walking inside and taking a look. There is plenty of seating inside even if it doesn't look it from the outside.... More

This restaurant serves pretty good Cuban sandwiches and coffee. It's not as good as the ones you'll find in Florida but good enough. Their chorizo tasted like Italian sausage and the lechon tasted pretty close to how the Cubans make it. Their service is fast & staff is efficient, though.

Two friends suggested going to Cafecito. I am very happy for having tried and wish I could come back for some Tres Leches. Try the spinach and shrimp salad and the sandwiches. I also loved the dulce the leche pastry.

Stopped in for lunch at the recommendation of a Chicago native. Excellent sandwich with a side of rice. I was able to get my food, relax and eat outside on a beautiful day and make it back in less than an hour...

We were looking for a place to eat in Chicago when someone recommended Cafecito. We are happy to have tried it. Not only was the food good... the price was as well...a shocker in the city of Chicago. The location is a couple of blocks from Michigan avenue and Millennium park which is convenient. Try it out!!!

Had a wonderful lunch - great variety of pressed sandwiches. Even vegetarian. Nice selection of local beers. Coffee to die for-- sweet and strong. It's a don't miss. Walkable from the MCA.

Very nice location for a quick lunch. Sandwiches are tasty and service is fast. The location is modern and fit very well to the hostel next to it.

If you are looking for some good tasting food in a very casual atmosphere, this is your place. I gave Cafecito an average review because of my Cuban Sandwich. It was just okay and I felt it should have been a little more memorable. That said, the Cuban coffee was excellent. My husband had Ropa Vieja and it was delicious.... More
