Enjoyed some good meals and adult beverages. We arrived around 5pm and were told we could not be seated unless we paid cover charge for a show which wouldn't start until five hours later. That was not our intention so we started to plan for dining elsewhere. Before we could exit the host approached us and said we could eat... More

This great place was just around from the hotel we were staying in. Allows young children in until 8pm. Music started at 6pm. Friendly staff. Great service allowing us to change food items around from the menu.

Very famous place where listen blues music. We supposed to have around 2 hours to enjoy our dinner but we could spend only 45 min after that they asked us the show fee. Probably It was a special event. Food is Ok; nothing special. Main dishes are from South.

Cool place.....a Chicago must see. Live music every night. before 8 it's free but after there is a cover charge. We went for lunch and had music from 12 to 2 on a friday. The gumbo was great, and the catfish po boy was too. About 10 craft beers on tap, with more bottles....including the buddy brew made just for... More

Topped off our trip to Chicago with some old school blues. The good: Great music. Great food. We shared the Jumbo Gumbo which included shrimp, oysters, crab and crawfish tails along with rice and cornbread. It was a feast! The bad: Really bad service. "Seat yourself" while musicians are performing? We had to flag someone down to just get menus.... More

Everyone said come here, and they were right. The music was great, the atmosphere was buzzing and it was a true piece of American blues heritage. Loved it

If you want to experience uniquely American blues music then Buddy Guy's Legends needs to be on your list. I have been here a couple of times and have always found a band that I want to follow. Sometimes my favorite of the night is not even the headliner. I recommend going for dinner (great cajun food) and staying for... More

So i dragged one of my friend, who frankly did not care for Blues, across the town for one of the evenings and boy was he glad. My review may be biased because typically a good music tends to cause me overlook other. We were there for the evening when we there was a live band who played some phenomenal... More

We were walking back from a show on Michigan Ave, and headed over because heard they had good Southern food, and live jazz. The free music was fabulous, and food so fresh and delicious.

I had been quite a few years back and was quite excited to be visiting Chicago so I could come back to this place. Like most things it is never as good as it was the first time. The door staff was polite, the waitress was efficient but disinterested. The food was not overwhelming but the music was great and... More
