Nice veggie noodle soup (needed a little soy sauce). Close to the park but no wait even on a busy Memorial Day weekend. Tofu steak sounded intriguing. Next time!

We don't call it Japanese cuisine...most of Chinese.... Even most of sushi is not Japanese...it is called western sushi roll..it means not Japanese.. Change to Chinese cuisine is right..

I wanted sushi and asked someone where to get it. This place was close by so they recommended it. After eating I was happy that I went. The sushi was great, they also had a large selection. Also had the miso soup, which was delicious.

Our group of 8 wandered out of the Art Institute on a Saturday afternoon weak from hunger, and we walked into the first restaurant we could find- and are so glad we did. I was a little apprehensive- combination of tourist restaurant, and sushi in Chicago (I'm from the coast), but watching the plates go by as we walked in... More

Walking around town and couldn't resist stopping in for some miso to warm up, and a taste of EEL. This is a nice quiet place to get a bite to eat near the lake. The staff is business like, so it has the feel of a traditional sushi bar. Would be a good place for a business luncheon.

The staff want you in and out though ... you have barely taken your coat off and they are ready to take your order! Don't modify anything they get confused. Classify as cheap and cheerful for a quick bite!

Great restaurant on Mich Avenue for Thai and Asian cuisine! Quick service and fun atmosphere. I love the Tuna Avocado Salad, Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup. Sushi is also really good. Get the Silver Lunch Plate.

Got take out from here two nights while staying at the Palmer House. Ordered from their website and the food was made very quickly. First night I had the Sushi Gold combo. Lots of nice fresh fish and a good variety. Added two pieces of Salmon roe sushi which were great. Sushi Gold comes with miso soup which I usually... More

Dragon roll was fantastic. California roll was normal - nothing special. Green tea was super. I was looking for somewhere with sushi close to the Palmer House and this was the most convenient location.

Very friendly staff, good wine list and excellent sushi. The service was fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Try it! You won't be disappointed!
