Good spot with inside/outside seating. Latte and sandwich were very average altho it is a former award winner in '14 and '15. On way from Lincoln Park/Fullerton St to Fullerton Red Line stop. Sandwich line up is very intriguing and desserts looked good.

Have not been to the Bourgeois Pig in about a year. It used to be very good. Tried to order lunch to go on a Tuesday; roughly at noon. You'd expect that to be prime time for a sandwich place. So I ordered what was...More

First, I will say that the places to sit in this cafe are expansive ... with many rooms, tables and seating options. That part I loved! What didn't I like? The coffee and tea we had were mediocre at best. I was told by the...More

The food and atmosphere turned out to be even better than the website promised. It seems to be a quaint old (former) house on a commercial block, and the outdoor seating was a plus since things are a bit tight indoors. The sandwiches have clever...More

This independent coffee shop has a massive menu. The food is generally tasty and, even though there's usually a long line, the wait is worth it. The restaurant is deceptively large, with indoor and outdoor seating involving two storefront plus an upstairs seating area. The...More

I have fond memories of sitting upstairs with my family on snowy winter days, drinking hot chocolate and playing scrabble... It's a wonderful setting, and the food is very nice, if not cheap. Definitely one of my favorite places in Chicago (if only for sentimental...More

I used to really like this place, and when I needed to head into Chicago I would come in for coffee and breakfast while I do work. The last two times have not been good, and I won't be going back, which is too bad...More

Went today for lunch.. I know they've catered to the Depaul crows for years but for $11 sandwich you're truly better off at potbellys. Ordered their corned beef as the cashier raved. 2/3 of the sandwich was nothing but fat (No meat).. no apologies.. She...More

Nice breakfast. Very healthy and tasty. Kind waitress. Recommended by People Magazine. For sure the best breakfast after the Chicago marathon

When there isn't a line, when the coffee machine is working, and with pleasant staff this place is a wonderful local gem! It's very dive-y and old inside, but the outdoor seating is spacious. The food - pastries and sandwiches are nice too.
