We had a 5:30 reservation which was great for pre-show dinner. Great crowd even at that early hour. Fun atmosphere. Started with excellent cocktails. Try the Very Old Fashioned. Shared dishes. We enjoyed the wood grilled broccoli, the mussels with squash in a green perilla...More

I have been wanting to try this place for years. My husband and I secured an early seating on a Saturday evening (4:45pm to be exact) to celebrate our wedding anniversary as I have been dying to dine here. First off, it is near impossible...More

We had a great experience. It’s definitely something different. If you’re looking for an unusual dining experience be sure to visit. Only drawback, our clothes smelled very strong of barbecue when we left. We loved everything we tried. We were a little put off by...More

Not sure what to say about this place. I get the feeling people give it a rave review because they think they should? It is really hard to get a reservation on a weekend evening. We made ours a couple of months in advance. It...More

I ask you if the following is worth around $40 (before tip) for breakfast for two: -a half hour or so wait to be seated (without reservation, of course)- more on that later -an interesting and eclectic breakfast menu (a la carte) -a cheery and...More

Wonderful and very flavorful dishes! Plates are to share so we ordered 5-6 to split between 2 people.

The food here is served tapas style ala small portions to share. We had an appetizer of warm marinated olives and fall-cacia bread, both outstanding. We also enjoyed the sea bass, scallops and escargot ravioli with a nice Vouvray wine. All excellent and served very...More

Fulton Market, Randolph Market, Jackson Boulevard and
Greek Town make up the West Loop. The neighborhood is

sub-neighborhoods within West Loop make this a unique

I do not recommend bringing children. There is no kids menu. There many better choices for kids in the city. I would suggest RJ Grunts or Heaven on Seven. If it's a weekday and lunch lookup Revival Food Hall.

Girl & the Goat has been serving fun foods, craft beers, and making wine in a rustic and kick-butt environment since summer 2010. The restaurant opens at 4:30 every day, and stays open until 11pm on weeknights and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays (until those last late night eaters scrape their fork across the plate for the last time, or finish licking their plates until they're shiny and clean). The Goat's menu is divided into three categories: Vegetable, Fish, and of course Meat--while vegetable, fish, or meat are respectively the main stars of their categories, there are crossovers in each area so you'll get a little bit of everything. Bread is baked daily, and there are always new creations on the menu. Girl & the Goat sits in the West Loop smack dab in the Randolph Restaurant Corridor, but the location is still gritty enough to appeal to the chef’s integrity. The Goat has a variety of seating choices, including a comfortable lounge, bar seats, standard table seating, and four seats close enough to the kitchen line that you might be asked to help.Girl & the Goat blended their own wine, and it's tasty. There are beers on tap from Three Floyd’s and a couple others. If you're lucky, you might come across the elusive collaboration beers that Stephanie personally crafted with a couple of beer buddy cohorts. In addition to tap beers, there's also a bunch of bottles to choose from. Girl & the Goat is open 7 days a week, because The Goat is a tireless beast, and besides, who needs rest anyway? Girl & the Goat accepts reservations but always welcomes walk-ins, nomads, adventurers, and those of you who don’t like to plan.
