Good food, big portions, excellent choice of beers, efficient service, background music could have been more varied.

What a great find, just north of the River in downtown Chicago. We stopped here for lunch, and were very pleased with our choice. There was a nice variety of food and drink on the menu, and we all felt that they were very generous on the serving size. We will definitely visit again.

Found this nice place and really enjoys the taco plates and fajitas. Wonderful atmosphere and specialty drinks. If missing good Mexican food in the city, I highly recommend this cantina.

I have been there twice in two weeks. Both times prior to a Cub game. It is very close to Wrigley Field. I had the shrimp tacos both times. You get four tacos. They are very good; however, the food comes without sides. They must be purchased separately. The chips and salsa also must be purchased. I also had a... More

The meat is always consistent and tasty. The menu is limited and value is on the lowere end. The service was friendly and excellent.

Atmosphere is great. Different variety of music all night. Nice sized portions, cool presentation, queso and steak is amazing. Make Sure you specify, make it very clear and confirm if you want separate checks; our group of 10 was put on one bill. It was very time consuming and inconvenient to divide it all out. Gratuity not included

Went to this place as it was close to our apartment . On plus side decor and bar itself was good. Service was efficient though not overly friendly or engaging . Food was underwhelming , I had enchiladas which were dry and pretty tasteless . Might return for drinks but not food .

Four of us walked by and decided to try this place for lunch. It looked great. The interior was awesome. But the food really was overpriced, under flavored, and came in small portions. We spent the kind of money that four people would normally spend to dine in this area of Chicago at a place like this. But we received... More

Make reservations if it is for game day! Salsa is Yummy. The Carne Asada tacos were wonderful! Great before game atmosphere.

Established in 2010 Moe's Cantina is located in the River North area, just north of the Loop and the Main Branch of the Chicago River. It features Mexican fare with Spanish and South American influences, including mesquite-grilled skewers, sharable hot and cold plates such as tacos, flautas and Mexican sliders, and full-sized entrees including fajitas, paella and steamed mussels in a spicy white wine-tomato sauce. The cocktail menu has selections such as housemade sangria, handmade margaritas, premium tequilas, domestic and imported beers, and more. Inside are concrete bars and flooring, exposed brick walls, custom-made wrought iron chandeliers and open kitchens with mesquite-burning grills. Oversized retractable glass doors open for an alfresco vibe in the summer months and offers outdoor seating on a spacious sidewalk café. Easily accommodate large groups with booth seating and communal tables. Semi-private and private party options are available.
