Very impressed with the food at Tortas Frontera. I would recommend the Cuban Torta. Food appeared to be prepared fresh and much better than typical airport food.

I was walking round terminal 5 of Ohare while waiting for my flight and came across Tortas frontera, the smells coming from it were amazing so i decided to try it. I had the Chipotle chicken torta and a large Pacifico beer. It was one of the nicest things I've eaten in a very long time, light years ahead of... More
A GREAT sandwich is hard to come by. I passed this place up once I read the menu options. Jalapeño peppers seemed to be in every dish. After walking further and not seeing anything else in the airport that interested me, I went back. So glad I did. One of the best open-face sandwiches I've ever had. It was spicy... More
We all now for the most part how bad airport food is, however get out of the McDonalds line and get a torta and some guacamole, you will be glad you did.
I stopped in for breakfast and look forward to a return for a later meal in the near future. I had the egg and bacon tortas and it was a perfect blend of healthy additions and textures. Not as fast as some restaurants but well worth the wait. Loved every bite!
I saw this restaurant at Terminal 1 at Chicago O'Hare airport, there was a long line, but the food smelled good and with so many people I felt it must be worth the wait and it is. I had the Tortilla soup and Cuban Sandwich, both very good. Limited seating but one usually opens up. Do yourself a favor and... More
I had the Cubana griddle baked sandwich (without the black beans). Really good. Nicely spiced. Good chipotle flavor. Hot. Fresh. About $12. The sandwich did take about 10 minutes, so do not expect grab and go. Also note that the Mexican Coke in glass bottles must be poured into a non-glass container for security reasons. Much better than 99% of... More
There is a reason at 10:30 am on a Sunday morning there is a line of hungry people waiting for this simi fast food in Chicago's ohare airport. Hecho en Chicago is the blood that runs this bodega oasis in the land of chain after chain. These are not any weary travelers theses are the elite who stand and wait;... More
This is basically the only fresh hot food option on Concourse B, other than McDonald's and Chili's. I pad $14.00 for the Torta Peptio which has barbecued meat, cheese, bean spread, pickled jalapenos and cilantro crema. It was a decent size and the quality was fresh and full flavored. I also sat at the 4-seat bar for a margarita which... More
This was my second visit to this restaurant at ORD airport. I was third in line when the restaurant opened at 5 a.m. This place has a lot of publicity and good reviews so expect to stand in line for a while. The specialties are tortas (grilled sandwich) and cazuelas (breakfast in a bowl). They also have yogurt and toppings,... More
