Always a favorite restaurant while in a Chicago. Never disappointed! We took a friend and 4 family members who had never been to Roys. They loved it as well!

My first visit here at the suggestion of my sister who lives in the area. It has a nice atmosphere and we found the food excellent. I had the lobster pot-stickers and scallops and my wife the Poke bowl and blackened ahi. It was all...More
We traveled to Chicago for the holiday break and were anticipating Roy’s, a place we’ve loved in various cities. Our family of 5 enjoyed the food greatly: Ebi roll and dumpling apps, butterfish, ahi, mahi mahi for entrees and chocolate cake, kefir lime pie and...More
This was a good restaurant 10 years ago. However, their prices have doubled (now over $40 per entree), and their quality has decreased. Last night we had over-cooked, dry, tasteless mahi mahi and mediocre butterfish. There are serious ethical concerns about where their fish is...More
Roy's is a good place for dining for all occasions. I've dined at Roy's several times with friends and family and I've stopped by a few times with friends just to enjoy happy hour. It is conveniently located and easy to get to. All of...More

We love Roys for its Hawaiian flavors and types of fish. We loved the butterfish entree and the fish trio. Grilled Caesar salad was really great- different version than the typical Caesar salad. We had the chocolate molten cake which is always SO good! We...More
Roy’s is a classic restaurant with some incredible pacific rim cuisine. The butterfish is simply delicious, as is the macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi. The service was friendly and efficient, while the decor was elegantly subdued. I recommend Roy’s!
We found Roy's just down the street from our hotel. We found a great table at the bar and had a great selection of food from the menu. We found our meal to be presented quickly and with style. Part of this was the manager...More
My friend and I were in Chicago and wanted a nice, seafood dinner within walking distance of our hotel (Westin on Michigan.) We found this on TripAdvisor and was able to get a reservation for the following day. So many of the seafood dishes looked...More
