Wildfire in Chicago has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 15 years. We go they at least 6-8 times a year even though we live out of State. We had dinner there on Sunday night and found that while the food was great, they are having some problems getting the steak temperature right. Last night one of our... More

We chose this place as the menu had something for everyone plus it had been booked 50+ times that day. We arrived after having booked a table and we were seated in the smallest booth possible. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived so we hoped all would be good. The waiter went through the menu - we couldn't... More

I had not been to this restaurant in a long time and wanted to go back. There are so many good restaurants in Chicago, we like to try ones that we have not been to. It is part of the Lettuce entertain you chain of restaurants. Anyways, I went there this weekend with my wife and daughter and son-in-law and... More

It has been some time since I ate here, but the food was so good, next time I am in town I will make it the first dinner stop. It is an ala carte type establishment, in that each item ordered, from starters, to soups, sides, and of course your entree and any beverages are separately charged. But the star... More

I love this place. It's one of our go to restaurants in Chicago. Stakes are incredible, but so is everything else. Prices are reasonable, service is great, and you will not leave disappointed.

This restaurant does fantastic prime rib steaks ,I had the 10oz and it filled the plate but for bigger eaters they do a 12oz and for the greedy they do a 22oz ,the steak just melts in your mouth very tender!!!

Bartenders were not the most friendly and seemed to avoid certain people. The bald bartender was talking down to wait staff in front of us, and seemed annoyed that he even had to be at work. However, once we were seated, our waitress made up for the bad service at the bar. She was efficient, funny, and great at up... More

Rich Melman, the founder and impresario of the Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You restaurant empire, has created so many delicious dining experiences that it's hard to keep up with them all. My wife and I just caught up with Wildfire at 159 West Erie Street, west of La Salle Street, in another downtown Chicago neighborhood that is up and coming. Melman... More

This was our first visit to Wildfire on Erie. My wife and I had to pick up my sister at ORD, so we decided to spend the night downtown and go to a nice restaurant. I gave my sister a list of 5 places to go, and she chose Wildfire. I am glad she did. Reservations at 7:30PM on a... More

We had a reservation for 6. We were on time 4 of us. They had us waiting till the other 2 came. For 30 min. They did not allow us to order. Or have a wine seating. Impolite and rude. I will never go back. Avoid it. Rude.
