Ordered a salad for 17.00 and it was terrible. Nothing special, even the cheapest lettuce you can use.

Located in the heart of everything Chicago, this is a classic Italian American restaurant. On a recent visit we ate at the bar and enjoyed the trio of steak sliders, a near-perfect Caesar salad and possible the best house martini to he had in the...More

Had tickets to a show at the Goodman Theatre, and this place is right next door (in fact, it has a doorway right to the theatre). We were pressed for time, so we ordered at the bar. I had the Pappardelle Bolognese – wasn't exactly...More

We always dine here before attending Theatre at Goodman next door. There is a complimentary bread and cracker basket delivered to each table. The menu offers a range from sandwiches to steaks to pasta offerings. We always get the chicken parmigiana with meat sauce (which...More

Upon entering, we were immediately seated in a booth overlooking the main dining area. My wife loved it, she likes to people watch. The waiter came and asked how we were doing, asked if we wanted a drink, and brought them quickly. Then we ordered...More

I love Petterinos! I have hosted events there and dined there prior to theater outings and it never disappoints. Their menu has something for everyone. One of my favorite restaurants in the Windy City!

Cute place, celebrity caricatures up on the walls for decor. Food was good, salads were nice sized. Prices were reasonable. We went for lunch and there was no wait to get in but the place was crowded.

So disappointing. We were seated quickly for pre-show dining on a Sunday. Our server approached, (his name starts with the letter D). We asked for separate checks, and he said that would take "additional processing". It is 2018. If a restaurant cannot run individual checks,...More

Since I dine out quite a bit, I often get asked what I look for in a good restaurant. Certainly food is important, but many restaurants in Chicago are perfectly capable of putting out a decent meal. Not nearly as many smile, make eye contact,...More

Yes, Petterino's does have a kids menu. You need to ask for it, preferably to the person who is seating you, so you can order quickly for the kids. At least, that's what we try to do. Get them occupied and fed!
